Constitutional Carry

In Arkansas, we can carry open/concealed without any licensing.
Why is your state so cucked?

I would rather need a permit to carry rather than living in arkansas.

Same in Kansas. Also your state name is a meme.

National constitutional carry when? probably wont ever happen, the coasts like to arrest blacks and nonwhite to much for having guns on them, regardless if legal or not.

I can open carry in NC but I need a permit for concealed. I could be a real asshole and walk around with an ar pistol on my back all day.

Constitutional carry in AZ, open, concealed no permit. Just don't be a dick about it.

Texas has a pretty kludgy process for some reason. Their "License to Carry" is needed for open or concealed carry (unless it's a long gun).

>fill out lengthy application for background check
>pay money (veterans and various people get discounts)
>get fingerprinted
>pay money
>take class
>pay money
>shooting qualification
>pay money
>wait 1-6 months (usually 1)
>get LTC

Alabama is not based in this regard

>Why is your state so cucked?
There's a tumor growing out its asshole.

Why do retards relate open carry with rifles and carbines?

Kentucky has constitutional carry, dude.

Help me understand this, user, because I just moved here. I see that it is a constitutional carry state as of feb, but then why is there still a concealed handgun license here? Is that just so you could bring it to other states?

Lol if our state were a meme then we would be remembered more often.

Doesn’t AR not have castle doctrine?

To have reciprocated rights in other states. And training

Ok thanks. I’ve been keeping my gun in the car because I wasn’t sure. Glad to clear it up. Also it’s too damn hot here

What? That user specifically said he could open carry a pistol.

A CCW/CHL is still useful for traveling out of state and buying handguns on Armslist. Although Constitutional is certainly more convenient legally.

Well played

You have to get finger printed and fill out an application before even taking a class?
In Michigan, I had to;
>Take a class
>Take certificate of completion to county clerk and fill out a form
>get finger printed at the police station
>wait a couple weeks
>get CPL
I omitted the pay steps, because that's just a given every step of the way.

You can do the class and shooting qual at any time really in Texas. Some people take the class and don't even apply to carry. That seems silly to me though since it's basically just a 4 hour class on the rules for LTC and a really easy 50 round qualification.

>some people were comically poor shots and almost everyone had a full-sized Glock XD

>some people were comically poor shots and almost everyone had a full-sized Glock XD
oh shit that reminds me before taking my class someone told me "don't get a perfect score on the shooting portion or they'll deny your CHL because they'll think you're an assassin". Fuck I love fuddlore

That's why I shot a couple of rounds into the floor on purpose, just to trick them

>I got a perfect score

How fucked am I user?

governor xavier is going to personally roll into your house to arrest you

>Why is your state so cucked?
A combination of bleeding heart leftists and Jews.

>Just don't be a dick about it.
AZ fag here. I tell people that my gun is my dick. Works every time.

>why is there still a concealed handgun license here?
AZ has the same thing. Reciprocity in other states in one reason. Rumor also has it that it greatly raises the bar for your shit getting pushed in if you are involved in a defensive shooting.

Personally I think it is appalling that possessing a permit changes the judicial interpretation of exercising the right of self defense. In a way it's like saying 'even though we recognized your constitutional (natural) right to be armed, we'll subject you to extra scrutiny for not playing our permit game'.

PA can't have nice things because it has Philly and lots of suburbs. Pittsburgh, too, but Pittsburgh has much less sprawl. I'm surprised that things have been as good as they have been for this long, to be honest. Might change soon, though.

one of my favorite hikes short of the Butterfield trail.

r. grew up in Fayettenam during in the 70s

>Louisiana
>shall issue ccw
>open carry without CCW needed
Not great, not terrible neither.

DEMOCRATS ARE THE REAL RSVISTS
fuck off, nigger lover.

Oh hi Califag

Niggers up in Gary ruining it for the rest of us.

Because when someone OCs a normal pistol, they're typically a respectable-looking person that people either don't notice at all, or assume is an off-duty cop.
When someone OCs a long gun (or AR/AK "pistol") on a sling, they're typically looking for attention, whether as part of an organized protest or just an isolated sperg. And they get attention; not only does it stick in the minds of people who see it, so it's what they associate OC with, but you also get the "highlights" memorialized for all time on the internet, posted and reposted, so even people who never saw an OCfag IRL make that same association.

Of course there's exceptions in both ways, there's spergs with pistols in drop-leg holsters, and there's hunters carrying a rifle rather than leaving it in the truck while grabbing a coffee before dawn. But the typical situations really are typical, and color people's perception enormously.
