my mom wants to get a conceal carry weapon and i dont know much about guns please help
Want a conceal carry weapon
Don't worry OP.
Later tonight, Ill tell her which gun to get.
BTW, if you hear the bed knocking against the wall, just stay in the basement.
Glock 19
Now go away
Buy her one of those striker fired or TSA Sigs with the easily rackable slides in 380 or something.
If you got money get a ruger lcr in .327 federal magnum you could use .327 federal magnum, 32 H&R magnum, or 32 acp. The gun is around 500$ and seems to be pretty good for entry gun use.
If you a poor boi I'd say a ruger lc380 for around 230$ 20$ a mag, same thing as the lc9 but in .380 obviously but does not have 9 round mags at all, however you can buy a lc9 conversion kit for about 200$ that is the slide and a mag.
I'm not trying to suck rugers coomer cock but these do seem like pretty good options to me at least. Have a bad day user
Taurus literally stole that factory from Beretta and started making them; bunch of corrupt hood for nothing thieves.
Thanks she looked at a kimber 380 and seemed to really like it
Is she expecting to carry it in her purse or on her body? Anything 9mm and striker fired would be good. The Sig p365 is very popular for concealed carry. The most important things that most amateurs overlook is that you need a good holster, training, and ammunition to go along with it, or you’re probably going to do more harm than good if you actually need to use your firearm.
Definitely stay away from Kimber and Taurus, they are not reliable.
>Best comment.
Have her contact a local chapter of The Well Armed Woman.
They did buy it, and the employees, and the tooling.
It's part of the reason the PT92's their only good semiauto.
>purse carry
>gets snatched
Be surprised how many leave it around or somehow forget when trying to go through security.
fpbp
purse Draco
I’m definitely not advocating for it, but purse carry is better than nothing.
Walther PPS M2, great ergos though some people don't like how short they are and they're extremely reliable without being meme reliable like some other guns that are mentioned a lot
how old is you mom and how strong is she? If she is somewhat weak, despite being a little larger, the shield 380 ez is an easy to shoot gun for beginners and weaker people. Revolvers are generally good for people who don't know guns too, but I only have full size and never looked into carry guns.
Shield Ez 380 is a good idea.
this
Walther CCP.
The best pick for "mom carry" is the ruger LCP .380. Cheap and it works. Your mom aint gunna want to carry around a big gun shes gun a need a somewhat pocket pistol. If not an LCP then a glock 43 if cost isnt a factor.
I have a Taurus g2c I carry everyday that’s got tons of garbage ammo through it with not a single issue. So I started looking at this pt92. Is it trash? My gut says it’s trash.
Not gonna lie, Taurus spectrum .380 running Remington 88 grain jhp has been reliable as fuck..... s&b gave me stovepipes. Anything federal is dogshit. But my Tism Taurus eats Remington like Mia Khalifa eats... well, you get the picture.
