Annoying to the people on either side of you, sure, but the 29" has an obnoxious muzzle brake as well so it's a distinction without a difference.
I'm sure there's a small envelope out at 1500-2000+ meters where the 29" could penetrate vehicle armor and the 20" couldn't, but against an unarmored passenger car either one should be fine out to arbitrary distances.

I'm not going to call it inaccurate, but the M82 is very much a gun designed for shooting at *things*, not at bullseyes.

I want to mount this on the back of a truck and truly LARP - but all i would be able to afford is the cheapest Serbu... which is a single shot screw on cap.
Gotta have a semi auto to make it worth it and ALL semi auto .50 bmg are prohibitively expensive.
Also, can anyone explain why APIT, AP, API and APT rounds are so easy to come by in .50 bmg & .30-.06, but nothing else?

I'm not asking for like a 30 round drum or anything; even a 15 rd box would be a 50% increase in magazine capacity over the standard caps.

It's only 9" shorter, but it makes quite a big difference in terms of maneuverability.
