Looks like some pretty high quality wallpaper

picked this little guy up. Haven’t had a chance to take it out yet, but just based upon fitting it with the radio and underneath the front flap, this thing sucks. (air)lite? sure, but the thing has zero stability and sags at the bottom because crye thinks removing the rigidity was a good idea.

see pic related, area that bends and sags.

would say, not with the money unless you absolutely need an adjustable radio pouch. i’m thinking the fero concept wingmans will be better, as they at least look less likely to sag.

want to make some $$$?

make and produce “iota groin panel” carriers that can take old surpluss groin panels and make them with velcro so they can be attached under a front flap and behind a “dangler”.

i have 3 groin panels that are useless but would i’ve to add to a Plate Carrier.

put that shut up in e at or etsy.

Beez refuses to do it for me.

sorry for the typos, i think i gave myself cancer.

Are any of these surplus carriers or armors on Sportsman Outdoors a good deal? I was looking at this Polish one but really I’m just looking for something cheap for a little extra assurance.

Anybody familiar with anything there?

stop... just stop...

ask yourself how US military surplus quality is...

now imagine what a[n objectively] poor euro country’s surplus would be like.

and if you’re in euro... learn to speak russian or move to a free land.

Hey...boomer...why...do...you...type...like...this...............

Ellipses were all the rage in 2000

there's no reason to buy one of these when good 6094 clones with modern features, proper measurements, good stitches and integral mag pouches cost $150

to... piss... people... off...

I find great pleasure in this life annoying the shit out of people with the little things . . .

why?

Because people are too uptight about the majority of the things in this life, I believe pushing their buttons is the only recourse to provide true entertainment and i use [my] absurdity to show said people the absurdity of their own beliefs. because people are too fucking uptight about the majority of the things in this life that I believe pushing their buttons is the only recourse to provide true entertainment and he tried to show said people the absurdity of their beliefs.

it’s... the... simple... things... in... life...

(also, it’s a bad habit from when I was young and it’s very hard to break and sometimes I find myself subconsciously doing it. by my correct usage of brackets in my above post, i clearly have a grasp upon proper grammar.)

I don’t know about US milsurp quality. I just didn’t know if these worked or not. I’m really budget conscious and just now starting to research this

Is this the “cheap go-to option” ?

More costly carriers like the Crye JPC go for $200+ but are quite gucci, featuring ventilation and better padding.
The $150 carriers are the B grade option- not the very best but very dependable and not Chinese crap.

Bruh you can get an APC for $125 if you watch eBay

Had to go ni ni last night and didn't get to see any replies.

What's the difference between these?

look at op, where it says previous. click that

Same guy who runs CGG, I bought mine and my plates from him

Oh gosh what are you getting that for? I see that roll of tropic, I'd LOVE to have stuff made in tropic!

In a scenario where you have no other choice, you have to choose soft gear from Rothco, Condor, or Blackhawk. Which do you choose? What do you choose from them? And before you say "nothing", consider that a shitty plate carrier with good plates is better than nothing

I'd get a used crusty $50-75 Eagle

This is mainly for plate carriers in a new format. If this is who I think it is and you need something made, send me an email and I'll see what I can do.

Literally none of these, Condor has a reputation for garbage tier stitching. $150 AWS OCPC if I can't get anything else.

Ah gotcha. You know my typing too well

Blackhawk has the highest quality of the three by a wide margin.

From my experience with general kit from the three, blackhawk stuff stays together better. Generally better stitching and construction. Still prone to corner cutting and general fuckups. Would not be surprised if the same tiny Asian hands touched all three before it hops a container to America though.

I'd either get a job or get AWS OCPC

buy some duct tape and tape the plates around me

Just bought a First Spear Strandhogg. Anyone have experience with these?

They're ok.

No like one that has the male kenwood and female 6 pin. Sorry, didn't specify it

What watches do you guys recommend?
Just curious, not sure if it belongs in this general or not

Nice!! Will you be making custom orders only, or producing your plate carriers as per normal?

SKD tactical already has that

Ah, thanks

will a gen 5 Glock 19 fit in this? The website says it won’t but I swear I’ve seen people with them in these.

Any good websites to find a majority of gear?
Kinda tiring to have a lot of tabs open to determine costs and such

idk about that particular one, but my 6378 holds my gen 4 and gen 5 19x well.

yes

>Kinda tiring to have a lot of tabs open to determine costs and such
That is how it's done famalam. Anyways my favorites:
>Chase
>Tactical Assault Gear factory outlet
>Tyr factory outlet
>AWSin.com
>Optics Planet
>Rock Mountain Tactical
>JRH for electronics

what's a good cleaning kit for an AR?

Are these any different from regular Contac 3s, and if not, can a mic and downlead be added later? amazon.com/Peltor-MT17H682FB-09-FG-Hearing-Defender/dp/B071FJVB4X/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_zg_dy_0_7/147-4806761-3758442?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B071FJVB4X&pd_rd_r=0c37c0f6-fc18-4972-a152-822185cf19e0&pd_rd_w=ZKpDh&pd_rd_wg=Qe0Mz&pf_rd_p=4022e0f2-c06e-4e9e-bb48-d7486d1197f7&pf_rd_r=A2SZET9YYJA47K3VKF5X&psc=1&refRID=A2SZET9YYJA47K3VKF5X

Also, I found a cable kit to add a down lead and mic, but it's weird. It plugs into the mic port only. So how does audio in reach the headphones?

earshotcommunications.co.uk/shop/product/3m-peltor-mt7-fl6ab-boom-downlead/

The sag isn't an issue, compensate for the amount of sagging with the weight of the radio buy simply mounting the pouch a bit higher on the plate bag.

The slot had to be there for compatibility with some plate carriers that use a side strap with a buckle instead of a cummerbund type. In order to run the side strap over top of the radio pouch to hold it down and still access the connection with the front plate bag (which would be under the radio pouch against your body) you need the pass-through slot.

Holy shit should I buy these? Is this legit?

C H I N A

Ah, yeah, just googled TCA to see what that meant. Nah, I'm good. I just want a pair of Comtac 3's with a mic and downlink port and no downlink cable or mic in the box so I can buy that later. Is that too much to ask for!?

Just get a .22 cal boresnake and some nylon brushes.
I blast the bolt and bore with brake cleaner to get carbon off (it also degreases).
Corrosion X aviation is my oil of choice and superlube for grease.

I like the Otis kits that the military surplussed. They are cheap and high quality.

Proud cuckold nationalism

Body armor is one of the few things that the US military isn't completely fucked up on.

Isn't blackhawk actually legit too in the military service back in the day?

Simple, ugly. Will be put to actual use. I love it.

Yes, they were usually pretty good. They were always a step behind Eagle. They copied a ton of Eagle's designs. They even copied the naming convention by naming themselves after a big bird... then came Condor. I find it hard to believe that it's a coincidence. A lot of their newer designs are genuine original IP and, frankly, that is when they fall short; when they try to go their own way. They were always master copycats. I still find the materials and workmanship to be pretty good, though.

Where can I find some chemlights to weave into my molle? What colors should I primarily get? I'm thinking Amazon? Any recommended listings?

Blue and green are best glowstick colors

both and more:

Blue: helps see blood and other body fluids the easiest, but is the easiest to see at distance next to white light.

Red: needs the lowest amount of light to see clearly, hardest light to see at distance,

IR: self explanatory, though the majority of IR chem lights only last approx 3 hrs.

Different color as to mean different things.

you can also get a Blue Force Gear Marko

Rothco is practically airshit tier.
To answer your question with practical facts, the rothco has poorer quality materials, and weaker/less stitching. That may not sound like a big deal, but if you want something that is combat standard, don't buy airshit stuff.
