Accupoint is an underrated option and an excellent optic for a carbine or rifle length AR. My two qualms
>No classic horseshoe reticle
>Tritium load feels a little light under certain lighting conditions
The second is more of an inconvenience than anything and is much less of an issue with the triangle post reticle. With the dot reticles, you still have the etched crosshair when lighting is goofy but it's still a qualm of mine. It's also much more fragile than the ACOG, but pretty much everything else is too.

The 1-4x has absolute shit reticule options that IMO disqualify it these days. The 1-6x might be solid. I would love to heard feedback about the 1x eye box from someone who has used both that, a Razor 1-6x, a Kahles 1-6x, and Viper 1-6x

The Accupower and Viper PST both had great 1x. But the Viper PST was better because of the red dot style illuminated dot.

I assemble guns that work and work for my use.

Don't have experience with the others, but my accupoint on 1x feels extremely forgiving in terms of eye relief. Was doing ready ups today out in the woods and it's good to go on 1x. The eye relief at 6x is pretty stringent though. Also, it's definitely not true 1x. It's close and you don't notice it for points of aim beyond point blank, but the fact remains.

Right on, good luck! F1 really isn't that bad. Prints you can get done at your local sheriff's. Try to build a can that allows you to use genuine QD mounts. I suggest Key Mo (uses the same threads as ASR).

I like my 300blk a lot, but I would absolutely just finish your gun completely before building a 300blk. 300blk guns are many levels down the specialization tree if that makes sense. Given your interest in that, and possibly in 30 cal stuff in the future, I would suggest getting a 30 cal can. The Vox S is not a bad call at all. Light and short, decently durable. Also consider the Dead Air Nomad. In either case make sure to go with the Key Mo mount.
Stamp that thing as soon as possible.
