Farm work, custodial and kitchen jobs are all a available all the time yet americans refuse to take the jobs. Look up alabama hb 56. They employed the strictest anti immigration policy in the country, all the Latin American work we left and several industries just collapsed.

They refuse to take those jobs because they pay extremely low and demand tons of labor and they treat you like shit. Its a complete waste of fucking time.

Only complete morons or felons with no other options take on that kind of work.

If we didn't have illegal immigrants the people offering these positions would be forced to either pay up more money or just do without those positions. That's called bargaining power.

Yeah but theyll just automate everything if workers retaliate. If Immigration laws get stricter nationwide those jobs will either dissappear(good riddance), become automated or be forced to pay a higher wage to americans and provide benefits like a real fucking job.

Even then there are industries that need lower paying jobs like farming that has incredibly low profit margins. How will kicking out all the immigrants fix that? They make up 30% of the industry you cant just kick them all out, theres already a real world experiment the proves that it all falls apart.

Place near me pays twice the minimum wage for a dishwasher. It's almost tempting, but the last time I tried that line of work I was constantly throwing up.

Trust me I worked in Chipotle for 4 months. It was the most humiliating degrading job I've had. Being screamed at by kids younger than you, by customers. No benefits, working unpaid off the clock. Treated like a stain. I lied and said I got sick from the food and was fried. Due to that I got unemployment and I'm currently suing that store. Never ever ever work in restraunts.

In the US almost every dishwashing position is held by a 50 year old hispanic immigrant that does not speak english. Its usually around $8 - $10/hr no benefits. This was once a job for high school kids that could get a little working experience and make some beer money for friday nights, now its held up by illegals. There was a time when waiters/waitresses and bus boys were all around 17 - 23, now its grown ass adults 30, 35 even 40 doing it for "a living".

I don't even see how illegals can afford to take these shotty jobs. I know they try to send a lot of money home, but etween than and having a roof over your head and enough food for their 5 children I don't know how they do it. I'd rather have an OK job in Mexico than work for $3 hr in the fields here

They harsh lives where they live frugally, communally work 14-18 hours a day 7 days a week. Btw mexican immigration is falling because Mexico becomes a better place to live every year. They live with 10 other mexican roommates, sleep on the floor at night. And you have it backwards, here in the US a field worker will be making about $9 - $10/hr. They also have a lot of fraud going on in their communities.

They live in like 8 person households who all bring in minimum wage and eat cheap garbage food. Many also get false puerto rican IDs so they can apply for benefits and the like.

They also will pool their money together to buy a car and split it 5 ways. They all operate as a unit. They take turns cooking dinner, they they rotate who gets to sleep on the coach and who has to sleep on the floor etc.

Not true, as a person whose done a lot of restaurant job hunting the ones that are listed tend to be for rather upscale places for people who intend to be prep cooks. Other than that they're unlisted and worked by an immigrant getting 5 dollars an hour(before taxes, immigrants usually have a fake social security and pay taxes because of it)

Rican IDs can be had for just a 100 bucks or so. Because of how the system works they're considered US citizens stateside and its hard to positively identify a Rican ID. Thus these people who can't speak a lick of English and have non-Rican names have the full rights of a citizen.

i worked at a grocery store for nearly 2 years and it fucking sucked. i worked for minimum wage the entire time, and was expected to work in temperatures way below freezing for hours on end collecting carts. sometimes it was icy out and you could easily slip and break your neck, or get hit by a car and killed. on top of that when you bag you get to watch the cashiers get yelled at by the customers and are expected to be fast or else it will happen to you. And on top of everything, there is no fucking resting. you do it constantly for the entire work day until your short break, then go home after several more hours of doing it. its fucking torture

It's not that they're dumb, it's that those pennies are way more than what they would earn in a week working in Mexico. $5 dollars is what they would make A DAY if they did the same job.

My college buddy wagecucked happily part-time at a dollar store for a few years until management changed and it was taken over by some Indian lady. Lo and behold, he starts getting asked for ridiculous hours (including times everyone knew he had class), gets asked to clean the washroom more often, has to autistically re-organize everything, and less than two months later gets fired for some bullshit reason and there's two new pajeets working there who barely speak english, either relatives or friends of the new Indian lady no doubt. It was basically a hostile takeover. He didn't care too much since it was a bullshit part-time job while studying, but imagine being dependent on that income and losing that position in a recession.

Lol I'm from Texas and i know a ton do industries that are pretty ducked and that includes ranching, meat packing and agriculture. Not to mention land scaping fishing, construction and yes the entire food industry. They arw incredibly important to the texas economy and thats why we dont have laws like arizona.
