Ah that's kinda disappointing. I always saw it more as a brother sister type relationship as opposed to a romantic one. I've only read the novel and watched the manga and got that vibe from both of them. It seemed to me like Misaki and Satou weren't looking for or even ready for romance. They were both individuals on the verge of crumbling who latched on to each other in an effort to stay afloat. Them fucking kind of ruins the urgency of their desperation and lessens their hopeless nature imo.

I wanted satou to die desk. Would've been a more fitting end for a real robot, but he was a failed normie anyway

I agree with you about Satou and Misaki but I think Yamazaki had a happy ending. He was initially against it but after he moved there he seemed to be enjoying himself. Man got a loving wife and found purpose again by working on the farm.
