Maybe i should have called instead of relying on the stupid website, FUUUUCK.
I worked for almost 2 months there. no real disability coverage, i cant access my account anymore and see since its all killed. I sent in absent reports through the website, i guess i shouldve called since that shit doesnt even work. What I was told by my manager was that if your sick then you cant arrive to work, i work with foods and we dont want to be spreading a pandemic

Most places I've worked, you can be terminated if you are out for more than 3 days without a doctor contacting them and informing them that they are instructing you to not come in.

well if it's anything like the FCs (it sounds EXACTLY like it) you're fucked. they do NOT care, HR is NOT your friend. you are nothing more than a replaceable number to them
but this was a new damn site, they NEED employees. especially ones like me who get EVERYTHING right, i dont ever miss a thing, i am one of the most competent and i was one of the first who started. everyone there i met is good, theyre all decent people and my manager seems completely chill with anything, i doubt that she would let this slide. can managers do anything about employee termination?

i cant believe this, so what are my options right now. i was thinking of 2, wait here and hope the hr department from my area responds to my email, or go there and try to get someone to help and get nothing out of it but disappoint my manager that ive been terminated. i didnt fully explain, by weeks worth, i mean i missed 2 days over a weeks time. Im part time, and theres this new schedule where every partime employee works 2 mandatory days and can pickup other days that get posted on the job site. Ive been busy with school and had only 2 days for the past 3 weeks, but the recent 2 weeks i missed 2 saturdays, one of my core days
Staying home often or for a longer duration when sick is always wrong in the eyes of most managers when you're new to a company and have to prove your competence. Sounds wrong, but next time just go sick to work and try your best to show that you need to be sent home.
This is why you HAVE to buy cheap house, pay it off as fast as possible and start an investment portfolio because this isn't the 50s anymore and jobs will disposal of you like trash.
Try a good temp agency. It will keep money coming in until you find a new job if nothing else helps.

It sounds to me that from the information that you have given that someone had it in for you. The fact that they terminated your employment via email suggests to me that they wanted to get rid of you for some reason. Try to think back on anything you have done that may have pissed anyone off, although to be fair they may have got rid of you to give one of their relatives a job and it may have nothing to do with anything that you done. Try not to worry about it too much though, these things happen
