The main ship everyone cares about has been derailed through extremely shit writing after last weeks episode which everyone liked hinted at healing instead. Now the MC and 02 are separated and will be for a few episodes most likely as a result of the actions of another character that everyone already hated.

02 is a shit character though. As is MC obviously but that's the case with most anime. I don't see what kept you going back to watch this.

It's the way 02 desires Hiro. I've never felt that myself so it's easy to self-insert. That's why pretty much everyone watches it I reckon, aside from it being a flavor of the month anime. I'm under no illusions that it's good, but that's not why I watch it. I have other stuff that I watch for good characters and stories and 20 minutes a week isn't too much time to waste on self-inserting.

I actually stopped watching anime alltogether. Well, maybe about 2 titles a year now.

The loli 02/shota Hiro theory is proven right in episode 13, which teases a reunion after Hiro remembers everything. In the next episode they contrive a dozen different ways in which the two characters can't have "the talk" everyone has been waiting for, leading into an Ichigo-driven separation arc complete with her confessing her feelings for Hiro in front of Goro, while Hiro is emotionally ruined by 02 leaving.

I watched the first two epiaodes with a friend after we came home from bar. The first epiaode was boring to me until the very last minutes when the action became so ridiculous that it was amusing to watch. Then the second episode began and I soon lost all interest in the series.
After that we watched an episode of Maerchen Maedchen and I underatood how shitty taste my friend has.
