>be me >left after break up with someone I had known for 2 years >literaly have 2-3 so called friends, who don't give a shit about me or whatsoever >I have had enought >imgonnadeletethatshit.jpg >''Hey user, we have to aware you if you will not sign up into your account for next 2 weeks it will be permanently deleted.'' >accept >month passed, 2 months, 3... >now it has been more than 6 months since I deleted fb >feel pretty shitty >from those 2-3 so called friends left 0 >can not really make new friendships, because every social site is a botnet (thanks /g) >so I am here, after a half a year, broken more than ever, with literally 0 social interactions >(=
Are you experiencing something similar? Is it worth of the time to start from the begin?
I abandoned my FB years ago. I made mine in 2010 and barely got above 150 friends. Felt really ashamed I couldn't get 500-1k like everyone else. I don't really talk to anyone either and hate taking pictures or posting so I was never that into it. I left it up only because later they were saying that employers will look for a FB or social media so I just put up a decent picture and set it to private so when they google me they can think i'm social.

>150 friends how in the fuck ? i barely have 50 and i will delete most of them because i never write with them and don't really care about their selfies from clubs/parties /whatever i have never poseted anything there really because i never leave the house and don't seek atention. it's actually useless to me i might delet it as well desu
I'm waiting for GDPR to be fully in effect, then I'll probably delete the profile.

Hey pal just give out your steam name. If you have gmod we could play ttt

Well I made it out of high school so all I did was basically add any kid I ever talked to in school and then in early college a few people. If I made one today from scratch i'd get no friends.
Jordan Martinez
>every social site is a botnet (thanks /g) care to elaborate ?
I had above 250, than I reduced it to just 120 and left at 70 include people I was meeting daily. hack, if I knew about this before.. fuck my data
sorry user, I don't play vidya anymore. Used to play LoL, but I have been clean for like a month. Now I'm trying to be better at graphic and music but I suck
do your own research

>made a fb in 2009 >deleted in 2010 >only had 80-something friends >never bothered with social media since and now that I'm in uni everyone only ever wants to add me on stuff like insta >can't add "friends" because no social media >no social media because I don't have friends >tfw scared of being judged for not having any sort of online presence
The only reason I'm keeping my zuckbook page is because future employers are always looking at the social media presence of the next employees and I don't want to be immediately labelled with the "socially retarded" group.

are u me?
if u are a programmer, GitHub is more than enough. If u are not, maybe you should consider if that job is worth it, when your employees judge you because of your social media acc

>Never had FB >Never had friends >Fully isolated for the past 5 years I don't even remember what's the main purpose of socialization anymore. Just fill the void with shit that you enjoy doing + force good habbits on yourself, till you forget about that.
b-but what if I actually like to be in a contact with other people?

Then I'm pretty much helpless here. Save yourself up for some fighting sports. From my experience it's really hard not to find friends on tihht social circle like that ( especially if you attend tournaments for higher belts ), unless you're total sperg like me.

You're crying about this shit after 6 months? Bro, I got off Facebook in 2009 and haven't given a shit since, except for that I lost access to a bunch of chicks' private profiles.
Bentley Flores
Pretty much this. I became quite utilitarian in the process as well. I'm really approachable, however everyone leaves confused after a few seconds >hey user, wanna grab a drink with me? >"why? i'm not thirsty" >hey user, wanna grab some food? >"i'm not hungry" >hey, what's up >"nothing" >hey, how are you >"tired" I seriously mean no ill-will by these responses, these are honest answers to my current situation, i like my colleagues, but i know i hurt them when i say things like this. Goddamn it all. Due to the isolation i can easily enter into a meditative state to gain immunity to boredom now (even while in public+walking). I become surprised when someone tries to initiate a conversation thinking "how can they not entertain themselves?"

Facebook sucks I deleted mines 2 or 3 years ago no regrets
Those people never mattered

now I dont know, if u guys just deleted facebook and till now use some other alternatives of social media sites or if you got rid off everything.
well my friend, I thought that too. I found some, then I realized they dont't understand my needs, when I just need to be alone, make some time without people a time to relax.. same thing with a girlfriend.. now I have realized that I don't really need friends, I need a therapist, who I won't meet ofc.
