Nah the girl I really liked had a bf and she asked me if I was gonna go and I told her nah. She got all pouty about it and said I had to go. No way was I going to show up with no date.

Lmao I was hanging out playing video games with my Chad friend. Even he decided not to go and he gets pussy all the fucking time. We got a bunch of McChickens and played some video games.

I ended up having a friend ask someone to go with me (from a different school). I barely knew her. Was too much of a pussy to ask anyone myself. It was quite awkward. I did dance with her for a bit, though it was more of an awkward waddling. We didn't interact much. I think she had a good time talking with people she knew there, but I ended up hanging out with friends outside or elsewhere most the evening. I would have rather went with someone I knew if I had mustered up any semblance of courage to ask, though I imagine something similar would have occurred considering I barely knew any women too well.

I did it so I could say I went to prom in the future.The main reasoning at the time was to give my parents a different impression that I wasn't the shut-in that I am/was in reality.

I went because I somehow had a bf in 10th grade and I really hated it. We went with a group of his friends who were dicks to me the whole night. The girls basically borderline harassed me because I didn't want to talk to them in the group chat. I remember the hors d'oeuvres being really good though so I mostly just sat in the corner and ate them the whole night.

I had one friend who kept asking me to go with them. I agreed because I didn't want to seem like a killjoy. I went there and then my friend basically abandoned me. For most of the time I sat alone at a table drinking soda or sitting in the washroom, nobody else spoke to me except one person to ask me to take a picture of them with their friends. Pretty humiliating and a waste of money, should have just stayed home.

nope. went backyard boxing, fucked my jaw up (still clicks to this day). Did whatever for the next few parties. showed up at the school for the after prom party and got my complimentary beer coozie and water bottle (issued by the school lol). Then went to a beach party, got home at 4-5am. Pretty sure I was over my oneitis that year, so prom held no appeal for me. Probably could have gone with some other girl, but I thought her and my friends were fucking with me.
