How does one deal with being lonely?

i've been a friendless loser for two years now. i changed my number and didn't tell anyone to seal the deal. you get used to it. i actually enjoy my solitude. the only time it really stings is when you try to go out alone and realize how difficult it is. without social proof you're just boxed in as a creepy loser. aside from that

Oh in that regard I gave more or less given up. I never really cared about having a gf or a love though personally. So long as I have friends I can make it. But admittedly I still receive pangs of longing for a intimate fulfilling relationship.

I just distract myself with video games and the internet, but especially at these hours the true feelings start to creep in. Like others have said, having a dog or something helps a lot, but it can only do so much.
