The judicial system is absolutely fucked. If you brutally kill or maim someone, you deserve death. That's it. Fuck you know what? We should have police executioners who can sentence people on the spot to death. Prisons take up too much space and tax dollars money and are inhumane. We should just kill murderers and violent people, and fine/forced labor thieves. Not sure what we should do with crazy people who commit crime but killing them also would seem to do the trick. DNA tests dont even work as well as people are led to believe. Its completely possible for people to be falsely imprisoned through DNA testing.
If I recall correctly about 1% of those executed were innocent, this is even after years of work to make sure that person is 100% guilty. Also the process of sentencing someone to death is a lot more expensive than keeping somone im prison for their entire life.
