Is hanging on a pull up bar the single best thing you can do for your upper body health?

Pulling yourself up might be a tiny bit better

This, why would you just stop at hanging there?

I think he's aiming to only decompress the spine. It's hard to tell. I can't read faggotese

This applies to any sort of hanging excercise. We evolved from tree hanging monkeys:

GROW GROW GROW

he probably means to get started

What is your point? That doesn't address what those anons said

>Start doing dead hangs
>Focus on relaxing/decompressing my lower back
>Find out that if I exhale all my air I can get extreme decompression
>Strange popping noises
>Scared to do it again

Fun fact, this doesnt deconpress your spine. You need to hang upside down for the decompression of the spine and the test boost.

What is creatine? I've only been lifting for about 2 months and i've never taken it.

Is it basically legal steroids? Does it make you able to lift more and get you huge and shredded way faster? Does it really make you go bald? (I heard it does if you already have a receding hairline) Can a former alcoholic with a fucked up liver take it safely?

Oops I was trying to make a new thread

Careful with that shit bro. You dont wanna take 2 doses one day and wake up naked in the middle of the mall covered in blood and raping the mannequins.

source?

kek

I don't think that was any different than cracking knuckles. Was there pain after, or a day or two after?

Just in case this isn't a troll, or for other curious people, creatine shouldn't do much to the liver. It might make kidney problems worse, or make it look like you have kidney problems because of a high creatinine and wonky ratio with BUN.

I'm not trolling just wondering if it's even worth it. Does it make you go way harder in the gym with strength and stamina? It seems like most people who lift take it

This

careful bro
u know what that shit did to Elliot roger didn't you?

retard

do hangs with only one arm and rotate your torso
brutal grip and ab workout

Creatine isn't really like steroids and won't make you larger or shredded much quicker - what it will do is add a small, consistent boost to most people, which over time will lead to greater progress in the gym. It will marginally enhance your muscle recovery during short or medium-length exercise. On a day-to-day basis you probably won't even notice much of a difference in terms of how much you can lift or how many extra reps it gets you. However if you use it consistently for a year then that slight increase in stamina adds up over time and you'll probably be stronger than you would have been had you not taken the creatine, because each week you'll be progressing a slightly faster rate than you may have done otherwise.

It almost certainly won't do anything to your liver or hairline, although if you have any serious medical problems with your liver consider asking a doctor/Google. Don't take too much of it (3-5g daily is enough). Do your own research too if you have any doubts.

No, hanging from a noose is better

yeah i definitely would not recommend. my buddy used to take these and it fucked him up. his dick fell off and he started to become obsessed with well endowed afro-frenchmen

This. Additionally, push your chin down for an optimal core strengthening technique.

Surprised somebody on Jow Forums actually knows about that.

Hanging and squatting simultaneously is

Never did any sport/lifting in my 18's-24's but had a pullup bar and did some (like 15 a day on average) and it really helps to keep a decent non dyel build.
Defo recommend, shoulders and back will benefit long term.

We evolved from grass-walking prarie monkeys.

That's the whole point of an upright spine.

Forget that. The real scary part is how lightheaded you get.

sad that most of Jow Forums doesnt know the benefits of hanging.

Holy fuck I must try this.

Reminded me of chiropractic adjustments compilations on YT

We also evolved from fish and ocean-dwelling single-called organisms.

Perhaps you should try drowning yourself.

You could explain the benefits instead of being a smug faggot, your choice

how do these dead hangs affect your shoulder joints?

chekd and kekd

Works better if u hang with a rope on your neck

see

We evolved from archea, do you fancy metabolizing some fucking sulfur?

Beneficial

Hang with active shoulders and lats, or just hang using lockout/loose shoulders?

We evolved from hominids that are now extinct

Maybe you should try killing yourself

We evolved from wheat field-browsing Aryan monkies.

Thats the whole point of an upright arm.

How about unlocked shoulders? Pop em out boy

How do you know what he wants?

How do I bounce less after I jump at the bar?

For most of Jow Forums working out is the only thing keeping them from "hanging"

>grow grow grow

I started doing it and coupled with bulking its very demanding. Grip gains tho.

Its deceptively easy looking but you have to try a few sets to failure, I felt things I never felt before.

Chimps are like half the weight of humans and have arms at least twice as strong. Not saying it’s not a good stretch, but their shoulder joints are much, much stronger than ours. I’m pretty sure a medieval torture was to leave someone hanging by his hands, and eventually the arms would rip out of the sockets.

>wait until he asks what the prairie monkeys evolved from kek

We evolved from apes not monkeys

this has to be bait...

>you hang upside down
>your test runs from your balls to your upper body
>enjoy your gains

checked

>looking at your pic
what I'm supposed to do with that information?

ikr. idiots

If the goal was to decompress your spine you should hang but also have your feet slightly bent and touching the floor. If you only hang from a pull-up bar without contact with the floor your erector spinae muscles will tense up, not giving you the best effect.

If you are talking static work for the muscles then sure. But also try to pull yourself up.
