idk let me roll them digits to see how many I should do tonight
RIP
11 in a single set. Is that good?
Like 7. I weigh 88kg/194lb. I’m assuming that’s not very good.
Shiggy diggy
Fuck me.
Can I do kip up pull ups ?
RIP muh arms
About 9 in a set before form turns to utter garbo.
Do it
0 pull ups 0 chin ups 0 dips
23 at very most
losing weight?
Dont need to lose weight i need to lower bf%
did you just start? 0 chin ups is surprising if you're not fat. You should at least be able to do a couple.
6 at most with good form without swinging. I can do 4 sets of 6 reps
Started at 0 so I'm happy with the improvement
2 months
I look skinny overall but have a fat gut
6x5 but I'm 220 lbs and 6'4 so it's fucking unbelievably hard for me.
What are you other lifts? 225 at 6'1" here, can do like 2 chin-ups.
same here
Can do about 8 on a good set. 6'5 and 216lbs. Still dyel.
10 always
15 was my pr
hahahaha lmao
Even if you can't do one remember to keep trying, you will still build the right muscles until you can finally do it.
>220 lbs and 6'4 so it's fucking unbelievably hard for me
no its fucking not those are perfectly reasonable proportions for pullups
12
6'4, 220lbs. Maxed out at 15 full form last time I tried I believe.
30+ I think
>I think
uh...ok
If you can do that many then going for max reps can be pretty unpleasant. So I haven't for years and do weighted ones instead
12 in a row till failure.
6' 160lb. Just started lifting, is that good or am I just light.
10 :'(
6 good ones. Im 260 lbs
>can be pretty unpleasant.
theperiodblog.com
pr is 56
usually I do 40 before my hands start to hurt
I loved this one.
10, I've only gotten my Power TOwer up last month
ive done 2x20 with 10kg added, i weigh 97kg, 6'2"
kek
Post pic on back
BOI
Kek. I can only do 8-10, but do full ROM unlike most dickheads. If I can do 20 at my goal bw with strict form I'll be happy.
Like 5, but two months ago I could do 0 so it's a decent improvement.
I can do 12 in the first set if I push it. 82 kgs.
However, I can rarely go past 6 in the second set, and 4 in the third set
Why is that?
because you're a weak soyboy get big bloatmax or die
Not the guy you were replying to but you must be pretty alpha lol bc don't care about boredom lol xd
Can't do pullups (with proper form, shoulders back, wide grip) but I can do like 6 chinups.
Shiieeeet
I can do 20, 22 if competing. Mostly do 8 reps with 90lbs strapped on.
190lbs 6'0 lanklet
Same brah
Gotta pay the man, been slacking on my PU game.
Fpbp
Same here, probably like 6 if I also pause at the bottom. Used to have a pull up bar in my room when I lived at home a couple of years ago. Could do 25 at my best. But the ROM was shit probably and my BW at least 20 kg lighter than today.
3 sets of 10
Can you post a body pic, I'm about the same height and 190 is my goal weight.
20 good ones
Last time I tested, I could do 20 in a row, 25 if it's chinups.
11 strict form
I do three sets of 12 for overhand, and the same for underhand later. Twice a week (ppl)
12 with perfect form, full deadhang, chest to the bar, pausing in between reps. Have been doing them for a while though.
I'm moving to close pullups (10x2) and one handed pull ups (can only do 2 or three so far).
p good. height and bodyweight?
3-4 with good form
could only do negatives like 4 months ago so I'm happy
My max is 13, dead hang and no swinging and all. Even after I started doing weighted pullups I can’t get above that
>did 5 for the first time today
12 with good form
10 apparently, but I just did 3x5 pullups 30 minutes ago so still might be a little tired to PR.
No matter how much I worked out, it always went like this:
Set 1: 10
Set 2: 9
Set 3: 7
2 :D
not as many as i'd like to, i was much better at them at the peak of my cut when i was completely deflated
wew enjoy
who is this butt
did 5x12 last night, with dips and pushups in between sets. Trying to get to be able to do 20 inna set so I can start getting competitive for MEPs
Wtf I thought Jow Forums was supposed to be...well...fit...
14 at 80kg here. Total training time around a year. Spread over 2 years. 3 on 3 off.
Good shit user
For anyone struggling with their first pull up watch this. youtu.be
I followed this and within a month went from 0 to 5 with good form so far.
Don't do it
add negatives
it's just a hard exercise
8-10 for a set
At one point I was able to do 30 consecutive. With good form too. I made it by increasing the weight in weighted chin ups before doing them with bodyweight. I could do 3x10 with 60 lbs strapped. Now I'm getting back to it after a few injuries.
22, 185, 5'9
I can do like 7 pullups for my first set but for a 5x5 i will just be able to crank out 5 each time. Chin ups i could easily do 10-13 for a first set and then like 8x5 maybe.
>t. 6ft all (5,11.5 without shoes)
>189lbs
If you could do 30 pullups after just doing some sets with 60 lbs you had to be a featherweight lol. Were you?
About 25. For chinups it's about 30. On a bad day a few less.
13 strict
Not him, but was similar. I was 195lbs when I was best at pullups, and got there doing the same as him.
3*7
I usually do 8 pull ups, 8 chin ups and then 8 pull ups again. I only do bodyweight exercises
Kek demands your body to SWELL.
Negatives and isolations bros, I was that guy too at one point.
27 is my max
ALL OF THEM
I just did 17 strict ones earlier, i think i could hit 20 pretty easily but it was after i deadlifted and didnt go to complete failure.
>17 at bodyweight
>10 w +25 lbs
>6 w +45 lbs
>5 w +45 lbs
>8 w +25 lbs
Probably about 15
18 wide-grip pull-ups with strict form and no pause
6'0", 165lbs
i want to be able to do 30
breh...
heh
I hold 35lbs with my legs and do 3x10 at 170lbs
