>cucking your gains by using a home gym
I like my bar, handles 140kg + easy.
bench, squat stands, bar, plates.
Also this, man fuck those prices.
I live in America, recommend me quality equipment for low prices. I need
A Power Rack
Dumb Bells+Rack
Plates
Bar
Pull up/dip machine or accessories to power rack
Need them at cheap price and good quality, anyone have anything they would like to recommend? I live in Buffalo NY so any local deals would be good too. Thanks, I want to build my own home gym for the long term investment but don't know what to look for.
This guy knows what’s up.
>not doing just compoubd lifts with free weights

Does it count as a home gym if it's in my building?
drive to york PA and buy yourself a set of york milled plates and bar. saved you shipping.
get a flat bench from rep fitness.
any half rack or power cage will do.
thats it.
What about dumbbells?
>tfw live in an apartment
life is suffering brehs
clean your fucking houses up holy shit
Kijiji, people are always offloading exercise equipment for cheap.
Had to sell a ton when I moved house :(
I have that same dog except instead of being your dog its my dog
It's a little over $1 per lb here for the cheaper weights where I live. I'm not swimming in cash so I use tires with rims, some weights I did buy and chunks of metal that I cut holes in the middle of.
Anything to get the outcome.
Rotties? They're cute and almost adopted one. Seem like nice dogs but went a different route.
my nigga did you buy that york barbell set?
just lay it all out for me. review this setup, if you wouldn't mind. i'm looking for a low profile space saving setup for a friend of mine for under 500 bucks and this is looking good.
they are bretty gud m8, I also have a king charles spaniel and some meme chink mutt (lhasa apso x tibetan spaniel)
what dog did you get?
Not that guy but here's my personal opinion and knowledge of my area and prices. Shop around can probably do better.
Bench. I built mine for $66.87 with connections using YouTube tutorials but nicer / overkill. You can buy some like that for around $100 new or check sites for used.
The bar stands can be had for $114 new, adjustable enough for bench and Squat, the ones I got support up to 500lbs which is more than enough when lifting alone and without proper safety precautions. I know I'll never max them for safety reasons.
>like I could even max them right now
The bars again, used is good lots of York stuff is for sale on used sites year round. New bars, sportcheck has them for about $49.99 (I hate the locking system on those ones but they're cheap)
The weights themselves are good to buy right around now if you want plates. There's sales going on, otherwise used. Dumbbells I would say on a a budget just get the cheap Wal-Mart bars and use plates. $6, I've been using 2 25lb plates on them and they're holding up great. I can't afford the $1000+ to get a full range of dumbbells.. until my tax return.
I would say get some puzzle Matt for everything. I built a base out of wood and the stands have holes so I drilled them down to avoid any rocking.
One thing I did personally for dips.
Went to scrap yard, found an old bicycle rack, cut out two of the bars and build pedestals. Welded the bars onto the pedestals and it's been fantastic for dips.
In total the dip station was $25 to rent the cutter and a shop let me use the welder as part of a trade bargain for some homemade jerky and sausages... no homo.
If you go used you could get a full set up for around $300 with weights here.
King Charles spaniels are some of my favorites. Love when people would bring them in for check ups or advice. They've always been hilarious.
A brindle Cane Corso. The people put it up on Kijiji because the dog had "obedience issues" and it was still a pup. It's been the most chill pup to train and is fantastic. Yay for shitidiots.
if i wanted to buy everything brand new including a 300lb set with a bar, i'd be spending about $450.
>cane corso
my fucking man
I want to get one of them but unfortunately they'e illegal in my country (probably outlawed by the same people who have immigrants flood in because "omg how could you say they're dangerous? they're just the same as us, one race the human race")
ive had my KCS for 11 years now, still gets mistaken for a puppy constantly
tricolour masterrace btw
Are ur chunks of metal even in weight? Was considering to do that but it seemed like that was too much of a hassle to make even
Aussie Aussie Aussie cunt
Dang, you have some long arms.
Where would you guys recommend to buy stuff for home gym equipment? Places like Rebel seem bloody expensive.
If I walk out of that door will I enter another dimension?
Lol, the mirror does look like another room
200 for the weight set, I drove to the store in York, PA and it was on sale from 400some. Saved 100 on shipping.
bench was 100, from repfitness.
stands were 70 bucks on amazon.
thats my setup. If you want to drop your deadlifts, get a horse stall mat for 50 bucks and lay it down. or find some other 3/4 hard rubber matt.
Im doing 315 for DL (all the weight I have) and I just lower it slowly instead of slamming it down and my floor is fine.
I would recommend if you have the money to find a decend half rack. Its what I initially and still want. The only good affordable ome Ive seen was posted by a britfag and isnt sold in the US. Here we only have overpriced rogue shit.
Bar is good for 700lbs, I dont lift that heavy.
Plates are easy to get if I need them, could actually use another set of 45s.
Easy and cheap setup overall if you want barbell lifts only.
can we turn this into a doggo thread?
