1. You don't need Keto (it kind of sucks DESU), you just need a food scale and some measuring cups so you can count everything you eat.
2. Find out your TDEE
>sailrabbit.com
>Use Sedentary Lifestyle
3. Start logging everything you eat in MFP, stay within your TDEE.
4. Eat at about a 40-20-40 carbs, fat, protein ratio.
5. Enjoy losing a shit ton of weight without the gimmicks.
To add to this, a soyboy like you will easily lose 75lbs if you simply do the following:
>Eliminate all sugar in your drinks
>Eliminate all carb based fast foods and snacks (fries, chips, corn products)
>Say goodbye to milk
honestly not even a bad bod for 315
don't overthink it, stick to the diet, drop food related vices
you can do it user
Get a haircut and some contact lenses
Watch some of Dr. Berg's videos on Youtube on how to do keto. Here is a good intro:

He recommends that people should drink apple cider vinegar and to use sea salt when doing keto. Apple cider vinegar helps to flush out your system from metabolites and to balance the PH of your blood. Sea salt is better than kitchen salt, because sea salt contains many necessary minerals. Also, eat only when hungry and no more than two or three times a day, and avoid snacks.
>keto
How about you just eat less and exercise more. Don't overcomplicate shit you bastard. And don't eat the free restaurant meal.
It's not that simple, user. If you eat less and exercise more, then guess what happens? You get hungry. Keto helps, because being in keto avoids being hungry.
People do keto, because on keto you are much less hungry. Eating carbs makes you hungry even more.
what about Himalayan salt? that pink shit?
I'll add to this:
>Take a weekly progress picture, or 1 second a day app to track progress
>hold yourself accountable, and do not lie to yourself. Go into this with the right mindset that this hard work WILL pay off.
>learn to make kale chips. They're a good friend on keto
>learn to like Caesar Salads, as you will need the vitamins from the kale/spinach/lettuce you eat
>get fiber from either peanuts, sunflower seeds, and green veggies
>drink lots of water
>multivitamin + omega 3 + ZMA
>be comfortable with not seeing immediate results, and definitely get comfortable with plateaus
>you can get keto strips at pharmacies to be extra sure you're in keto
Be patient. It takes some people at a higher bf% to enter into ketosis. Drink a lot of water, and do not be afraid of salt.
You fucking well got this man. We're rooting for you.
Himalayan salt is also good. It contains minerals that you won't find in kitchen salt.
Same height, but I weigh 40lbs less and still look worse than you. REEEEEEEEE
yup, his tits do look good, op should be grateful his tits will not look bad at all when he looses 120lb and gains some muscle mass, sorry about your hair
No one is forcing the food into your fat fucking mouth.
In awe at the size of this lad
Dunkey?
The western diet is addictive, see pic related. They put chemicals in food to make it addictive, such as MSG, HFCS and you name it.
Obesity is a bigger (no pun) problem than poverty. Corporations have a responsibility towards the public by not putting addictive substances (once you pop, you can't stop) into food.
Though pringles hardly counts as food, it is basically starch in a can. The same with all the other fast foods. Eat whole foods and avoid the junk.
Important post.
If you don't know exactly what the contents of what you're going to consume are, do not eat it. stick to this and you won't fuck yourself out of keto. Also, just by looking at the back of everything you buy, you'll be much more aware of what you're consuming and less likely to go over your caloric intake. Take a multivitamin. Stay away from sweeteners, just because they aren't sugars doesn't mean they won't raise your insulin levels (stevia and erythritol are the only exceptions to this).
t. 3 months on keto and 38lbs lighter
Don't listen to the naysayers, keep doing keto and try to look up info and recipes
I lost 44 pounds in 4 months
AMERIFATS MUST DIE
Don't forget to get a workout in today! You wouldn't want to be unattractive to your doki do you? I'm hitting legs, lower back, and chest today and might go on a run afterwords. What will you be doing?
One is different from the other...
don't do meme diets like keto, they could be harder to follow and don't yield any advantages in return.
just focus on having a caloric deficit (eat less calories than your maintenance calories). also exercise. drink a lot of water. eat a lot of leafy greens and low calorie vegetables to feel fuller. don't forget your protein.
this is good advice
>Keto helps, because being in keto avoids being hungry.
>People do keto, because on keto you are much less hungry. Eating carbs makes you hungry even more.
fake and gay (not backed up by science)
remember that a meme diet like keto could be harder because each gram of fat has 9 calories, carbs only 4 calories per gram. and you don't feel less hungry.
>you still have to count calories
>Fats and oils are more important than protein.
>do exercises like rowing, farmer carry, calisthenics. Cardio will suck.
>check EVERYTHING for crabs and sugar. Motherfuckers are sneaky.
Not OP but in a similar situation. Came here looking for help/advice. Here is what I am noticing though. Stay away from carbs, any sugar, and dairy. Exercise is crucial, and to drink lots of water. What type of exercise is best for weight loss though? I've been going to the gym and just doing running and biking. I started out walking/running 1 mile and tacking on 0.1 mile each time. How could I improve? Currently 6'1" at 289lbs trying to get down to around 180-200. What else could I do to get there quicker? Should I work on gaining muscle until after I lose the weight or actively work on it during the ride?
You being a faggot is not backed by science, but you’re still a faggot.
Row. Also, find the /fat/ thread here
And stop running. Get on an eliptical before you blow your knees out. Speaking from experiance.
Good luck OP.
I think that just doing 16/8 intermittent fasting and cutting your sugar intake would do wonders and would be easier to monitor.
Keto is the worst idea for someone so morbidly obese. you're gonna end up having a heart attack.
>keto
dude just stop drinking soda and dude push ups wtf
Just don't eat, go 6days without eating and gorge like a hambeast on the 7th you' still lose a ton of weight Ulnes you somehow svidd down 10k+ calories
Thank you. Found the thread and will keep that in mind.
Goodluck OP
I have been on keto for a few months and it really does work. 6'2 - 250lbs starting weight and averaging 10lbs a month loss. I also really want to just drink a fucking beer and eat a sandwich and not be a neurotic freak about everything. Trying to get to 195 then start lifting and eating "normally".
>tfw my body looks the same but my moobs are bigger
>tfw 6'1", 260lbs
Wtf bros? I'm 55lbs lighter, does 2 inches really make that much of a difference?
Keto will change your life. I've been on it for over 2 months. The first week was horrible. Forgot names, keys, just general lethargic brain. Migraine like headaches, etc. After that though it has been amazing. First, my advice is to make bone broth and butter. It'll curb appetite. Buy a jar of natural peanut butter, and coconut oil. But coconut oil on everything, and eat the peanut butter as an almost snack. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. It's tough because my mind craves carbs if I get hungry. Peanut butter, and coconut oil, and water offset those cravings.
I ride a road bike also. I find it very easy to keep my mind on other things and will help build aerobic capacity.
If you really want to lose weight. Part time gig at UPS. You'll shed 40 lbs in 2 months guaranteed. Guarntee work 1 peak and you'll be down under 230.
why are you guys projecting so much, there is nothing wrong with keto
Try the stop eating so much diet. I lost 70 lb on it.
>chiropractor
My keto journey, lost about 80 pounds in 6 months
So from 285 lbs to 205 lbs.
Great job, keep going with this cut till you get back to normal weight. You should be proud, but don't stop now
