I started this shit in November last year and lost 9kg by just eating chicken breasts, rice or pasta, eggs and some salads once in a while. Didn't even track my calories, macros or anything and still dropped weight. Now that I want to bulk to 65 or 70kg because I'm doing StrongLifts, am counting macros and calories, weighing my food, eating twice as much as before... And still losing weight. Fuck my fucking life so much, I'm right there with ya.
So should I and the other manletbro bulk at 3,000?
i would honestly try a 2700 first and see if it works, i was lifting 5x a week and running 5k everyday back then

I was an obese, 210lb fuck until last year, so fat spooks me pretty easily. I'll start with 2,500 and if that fails I'll jump to 2,800. I'm not doing any cardio, so I can't imagine I'm burning all that many calories.

I lift 3x a week and walk between 5 to 10,000 steps a day. According to the Samsung health thingy, 10k steps is more or less 350kcals. Some days I walk 15k steps, others only 5k. I can't be bothered to change the MFP goals everyday according to these numbers, do you think 2700kcals a day is enough buffer to account for how much I walk?

If you want to bulk I would aim around 3000+ calories. When bulking at 5'11" I hit between 4200 and 4500
