So I've been tracking my macros using my fitnesspal for ages but I recently decided to change up my diet to bulk I used to app to track everything (I eat the same everyday) thought i was eating a small surplus (3000) but I've gained fat faster than usual so i sat down with a pen and paper and worked out the macros and calories on everything i eat turns out I've been eating 3300 calories
Yeah the data is crowdsourced so a lot of it is incorrect. If you want to do it right you have to manually input the nutrition data for the food you add to your log.

Youre wrong and an idiot
Aaron Brown
From now on I'm going to, serves me right for just relying on that shit
Ryan Nelson
How was I wrong??
Nathan Anderson
Any better alternatives to mfp?
Anthony Foster
like said, just create your own food entries into the database and use that to calculate your macros or atleast double check your what myshitnesspal says against the label of the food you're eating
Isaac Rodriguez
Macros counting are behind a subscription paywall. I rather buy some app than pay for a subscription.
Blake Richardson
nigga just open an excel sheet and input your calories that way
Owen Brooks
That's stupid. If you just pay attention to the things you scan and whether it's verified then there is no problem. OP is probably using a lot of unverified food or just not researching or double checking his searches.
Blake Roberts
>Macros counting are behind a subscription paywall.
No it's not. Not on MFP anyway.
Jordan Martin
They had a data breach bro. Delete that fugazi shit.
Anyone else get an email from mfp today about a data breach?
And OP, you should enter the macros and calories into mfp yourself. That's what I do. The nutrition info in their database is often wrong. Once you enter your food once it's saved, so if you eat a lot of the same foods like I do, it's pretty much the same as using their nutrition info. You just enter it in once and then keep using it

I was looking for information about working at mfp today because I thought it would be cool to work there after I finish my CS degree, and I found this image. Wtf is this shit? Where can a high test alpha white nationalist programmer work that isn't full of beta shitlibs and sjw hr departments? Should I drop out and go the blue collar route?
You probably aren't nearly good enough at programming, but unironically quant finance or any startup that has a founder you like
Samuel Flores
Excel/Google Sheets
Oliver Taylor
How good at programming do you think you have to be to work at mfp? They're not Google and I'm not a shitty programmer.
Jace Walker
>How good at programming do you think you have to be to work at mfp? The question was rhetorical, if it wasn't obvious. I don't actually care about your opinion on it
