I'm not shocked that women are attracted to attractive men, I just can't understand why it's so fucking hard to get a normal and pretty GF. I'm a great looking guy and I get a fair bit of attention but when it comes down to it all I end up getting is flaking and gradual lack of interest. I don't have low self-esteem, I have pretty reasonable and realistic self-esteem (which is pretty high), and I'm not that shy. I think I just want validation from people and they can sense it. I wish I were fucking Ferris Bueller, but I'm not, in many ways I'm similar but in many ways (probably more) the exact opposite.

Yeah women want good looking guys but all the good ones want a guy like Ferris Bueller and if you're not anything like that you're only ever going to attract broken bitches with self-esteem issues who will make your life hell. I'm not a Chad, too short (5'9) and autistic for that, but I have enough draws and edge to make me very attractive to girls around my age. No girl looks at me and thinks 'that guy would be a great catch for any girl looking to get married'. I'm most attractive to the 16-21 range of girls and then after that start to get much less attention. Women in the 28-32 age range actually can't stand me for the most part, and I suspect that's not really gonna change.

The problem isn't that the girls I like don't consider me, it's that they quickly realise that I have a deep craving for validation and that I'm not the care-free edgy guy that I might appear to be at first. That's what worthwhile younger girls are looking for, but they lose that desire as they get older, more cynical/bitter, and start realising that they aren't actually cool enough themselves to get a guy like that.

Being physically attractive only helps you get more physically attractive women, but the rest is pretty much personality. It just gets you in the door. If you fall short on personality you can start aiming below your league which makes it easier (but you don't want to do and won't satisfy you) or you can find someone with an equally shitty personality and be miserable.
