Serious question to the plebs that count the bar; did you previously weight the bar?
One time the gym was empty so I grabbed each bar one by one and stepped on a scale. All bars had a different weight, ranging from 39lbs to 46lbs
Bottomline: you DO NOT count the bars. I bench 180lbs for reps (4x45lbs), I do not bench 225lbs for reps

Ok, I know the bar weight counts but I am actually trying to see exactly where that fact is spelled out in a powerlifting rule book but I can't find it. I know this is likely because it's so obvious that it's not even worth saying but I am starting to get uneasy.
