Are there any other mood-enhancing supplements like ashwaghanda or GABA that I should be aware of? These two have helped me a lot.

Are there any drawbacks for ashwaghanda?

Not much is known about the long-term affects. For short-term all I know is that I get headache if I take too much.

I see, it's safe enough to test myself right?

You can look on WebMD for the list of adverse effects, but I know they're pretty rare.

Just take a small dose and gradually increase to be safe.

Goddamn...

Seems pretty harmless, I'll give it a try.

lmao, enjoy your heavy metal poisoning from taking this chit everyone

Got convinced to buy Ashwaghanda and Rhodiola Rosa today. Going to take the former at night and the later in the mornings, because of the whole stimulant/sedative nature of the herbs.

Is wasn't cheap, so I hope you guys weren't fucking with me.

I'm super sensitive to anything GABA, helped my mood for a bit but increased anxiety over time.

Rhodiola Rosa. Look up the Examine page for either of those, they will probably link to the others, but Ashwaganda and Rhodiola are the most studied herbs.

L-Theanine completely offsets the jitters and anxiety from caffeine.

God tier stuff.

>Rhodiola Rosa
Took it daily for a while with no effect, but it might have been too subtle for me to notice.

I've had great success with L-Theanine, is it safe to take alongside Rhodiola?

What brand of L-theanine do y'all have? I took some before with a cup of coffee and it definitely offset the jitters and stuff but it didn't make me feel more social or anything like that

I have the Now brand. I wouldn't say it makes you more socialable, it just keeps you relaxed yet sharp. You're calm so less likely to shy away from a conversation or over think something. I'm not really a sperg though so it may make you more social.

l-theanine is safer than both. ashwa fucked my thyroid

gonna need sauce on her

Currently on second day of l-theanine. Been suffering from very bad depression and anxiety from a breakup and I gotta say this stuff is really helping a lot. I also live off of coffee, so the relief of jitters has been really nice.
