Count the bar. It'll make more gains!

what the fuck is that bar

golds gym bro, 45lbs. in total that’s 75 pounds. 75 solid ass pounds!

why don't you put that full plate on? and the 25. why are you benching 25+5? are you

Are those plates on your bar kg or lbs? Either way, did you just start lifting today?

wym bros it’s a process

why has nobody posted their maxes

75kg x 5

110lbs 5x5 Bench right now.
Forgot what my OHP was, somewhere around 80lbs.
Keep going brah

Bench: 225lb x 5
Squat: 265 x 5
OHP: 145 x 5
DL: 275 x 5
Bent Over Row: 215 x 5

Need squat and diddly work. I think my diddly suffers due to fear of bad form. I know I can do more than I do, i'm just scared to hurt something because no one at my gym does deadlifts so I can't ask for a form check.

how was your first day at the gym?

Bench: 100kg x 1
OHP: 60kg x 5
Row: 62.5kg x 5
Deadlift: 140kg x 1
Squat: untrained lmao

kind of like the first day in your mom.

im joking bro my numbers are worse than yours

keep it up :P

Mine's like that except my OHP is 90

yeah but why are u on fit the very first day of lifting? you're tricking your brain into thinking you've accomplished something.

maxes:
squat - 185 for 3 or 4 because squatting is not fun
dead - 365 for 3
bench - 215 for 1, dear god why can't I reach 225
shoulder press w/ dumbbells - 70lbs (in each hand) for 10-12 or 75lbs for 5-7.
rows - idk, I throw a single plate on and just rep 10-15 for 6 sets.

2 months lifting. When I started I could only bench the bar, but now I bench 3x5 60kg

you mean 600 kg right? no one can be this weak

>600kg
>probably double the world record for his weight class

Most dudes I bring into the gym for the first time put up 90lb for 5-10reps. Benching over 135lb within your first month isn't that common.

Most people are very weak at the beginning. I started out with a 90lb bench 3 years ago. Hit 315x2 last week. Not saying thats impressive. Just that starting numbers don't mean much.

Good work man. Keep it up. Every session should be more intense than the last.

it’s my third month dude i’m not a noob

115
185
265
405

225 Front squat, 190 clean

how can you pull 4 plates but not even bench two

That dead number is way too fucking high. I can squat 355 and am just under 4pl8 on my deadlift

not him but i'm 6'2 with 37" sleeve length, it makes benching harder. bench is 195 and dl 405

Bench: 325 lbs.
Squat: 455 lbs.
DL: 550 lbs.

Bench : 225 x 5
Back squat: 315 x 2
Front squat: 225 x 10
Ohp: 135 x 5
Bent over row: 225 x 5
Deadlift: 290 x 7

thats what i use for bar curls

Bench : 135 lb x 5
Back Squat: 235 lb x 5
OHP: 105 lb x 5
Deadlift: 225 lb x 5

I'm too cautious to go to high on DL, but I'm sure it would be a little higher

Bench: 215x5
Squat: 295x5
Diddly: 325x5
OHP: 140x5

Bench 80kg * 3
Deadlift 110 kg *5
Squat 110 kg * 5
Rows 75 kg *5

Idk. I don't even look trex mode. My thighs are the most obviously built part of me but I have wide shoulders, it's honestly inexplicable. I'm also going to hit 1pl OHP before 2pl bench by a wide margin

Your squat form is way better than your deadlift form, and opposite for me then

I guess. 140lbs still seems like way too much for a form issue though. Unless it's really bad.

It also has a lot to do with size of your legs. Ratio of femur length to tibia, length of spine/torso, etc.

IME short femur, short torso = bonus to deadlift

Squat: 365
Bench: 265
DL: 535
OHP: 175

All 1rms because I don't understand the obsession this place has with 5rm.

135 x 5
225 x1
315 x 2
405 x 1
How do I improve grip strength for do? I'm trying hook grip but I feel the bar slipping out of my fingers

1.25/2/3/4 max

Same and i’m a 135 pound twink. We all start somewhere though.

I am 5'8 160 with longer legs shorter torso than average prolly

Don't use hook for DL unless you're going to go be an olympic lifter

Just use chalk/mixed grip/ straps

I'm miring your "Farting Mix" in the back there OP.

Very small differences in bone ratios can make a big difference. Just keep improving all your lifts as much as you can. If your diddly is way higher, who cares as long as your squat is still higher than bench.

potting mix brah

150 OHP
244 bench
306 squat
396 diddy

how do i bench your max for reps but deadlift over a hundred pounds less than you

>225 bench
>355 squat
>385 deadlift
Starting to wonder if I have slav genes

wait thought OHP was bench ignore my post

Squat: 560
Bench: 335
Diddly: 540

Squat: 425
Bench: 365
Deadlift: 585

Height: 6'4"
Weight: 250

OHP 125
Bench 195
Squat 245
Dead 275
5'11.5" 155 lbs

135x5 OHP
225x3 Bench
225x4 Squat
330x3 Diddly

How the fuck do so many people here squat like 265 and can't even bench 200, like what? How weak are their chests? Or are my legs just shit?

>benching at home without safeties
either way i've been doing GSLP for 3 weeks now, my 1rms are 115 for OHP, 180 for bench, 225 for squats, and 315 for deadlift

Attached: 1512878634221.png (253x199, 6K)

Yes and yes

I'm about 2 1/2 months in. Up to 175 pounds from 160
Decided to do my maxes this week.
So far I just did OHP on monday, got 115.
Doing deadlift after class today and I'll post if the thread is still up.

155lbs...eat

Is that an exit bag on the left OP

Also I'm 5'11"
I've been doing 5/3/1 because a bud recommended it and I've been liking it. Should I switch up my routine?

OHP: 130 x1
Bench: 205 x1
Squat: 225 x1 (lol)
Dead (Hex bar): 420 x1
Pullups: +45lb x10

5'7.5" 170 lbs

not been lifting long, need more squat

this thread was originally a shitpost but i unironically failed my fifth rep on my fifth set of 150.

Been training for years and experienced many back injuries lol; just getting better now.

Estimated 1RMs
S: 320 (285x5 atg)
B: 245 (205x6)
D: 400 (365x3 hook)
