so Jow Forums, i'm unironically 30, i've been lifting for about 5 years so my body is looking pretty great and i feel very good.
however i feel like my skin is starting to show its age, it kinda begins to sag and wrinkle a bit and got some spots here and there. i used to think it was lack of sleep, but even when i'm fully rested i still look tired like i was up all night caring for my wife's son.
what's a good skin routine to help me at least maintain what i have? i still look about 25-27, which is alright, i just want to slow down the skin aging process as much as possible.
I had dry skin so i did as a man and found out what skin cremes contain. Glycerol is the thing, it draws moisture from your lower skin levels to the outer layer making your skin moist. It also works as a protective layer that holds the moist in your skin. It also makes you tan.

OP, the two most important things for anti-aging are #1: Sunscreen, and #2: a retinoid
Isaiah Taylor

>tfw i'm that 30 year old at the gym
that kid making all these 30 year ols posts got you... insecure faggot
Evan Morgan
Nope, retinoids are incredibly effective for anti-aging. They even out your skin-tone, repair UV damage, lessen wrinkles, improve skin cell turnover...
In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub.

You use a veery small amount every time, maybe 0.05g. I have a 30g tube that I've been using for the past 3 years and there's plenty left
Used every other night, that'll last over a year no problem.
That's just an example. There's plenty of other sellers and places to get it online, or just go to any doctor at a walk-in clinic and ask for a tretinoin prescription. Or get granactive retinoid 5% from The Ordinary.

you are hitting the "wall". most people have first wrinkles by 30. to have younger skin avoid direct sun light during summer times to face thats about all you can do in the future
Vitamin c serum is a God send, I recced it to a friend of mine who had bad acne for years and his face looks much better now, more bright and young looking, even his family and other friends have noticed Most people use face lotion, but it's best to have one with decent spf for the day, I have a cosrx 50spf, no typical spf white cast it's great >tfw been trying to sleep face up for the past couple weeks to help get rid of the last bit of stubborn acne on the right side of my face (I always sleep on the right side) >literally lay there for 30mins -1hr and nada, can't fall asleep >give up and turn on my side and pass out in under an minute Am I a lost cause?
They both claim to have Retinol in them, so yeah they should work. Some products lie about having retinol or their concentrations are much lower than the label actually claims. Just a heads up.
I'm in Canada and went to the nearest walk-in clinic and straight up asked the doctor for a tretinoin prescription for anti-aging, and she gave it to me in 30 seconds. That's what I recommend you try before any other retinol products.

Growth hormone is your friend

Is 20 an ok age to try retinol? I don't have problems with wrinkles yet, I just want my prime to last longer
Brody Foster
It's never too early to use retinol, in fact the earlier the better
Make sure you use daily sunscreen too; it's even more important imo
Adrian Young
Just sleep on your back, and only bathe in cold water, don\t waste your money on products

Where is the acne specifically on your face? I've noticed that sleep wrinkles form mostly on the lower part of the orbit of the eye, because the cheek skin is pushed forward in the night. A horse shoe shaped pillow turned sideways prevents this, by making the contact point the temple and the jaw, not the cheekbone. If the acne is on your cheek, that might help.

retinol, use spf daily with it. avoid foods with a high glycemic load and foods that are inflammatory, as that causes acne. cut down on caffeine, too much coffee causes you to produce less collagen (what makes your skin look good). use a proper moisturizer, and exfoliate. all you really need is a cleanser, retinol, spf, moisturizer and an exfoliant. done.

Try coconut oil as a moisturizer. Just use small amounts, a little goes a long way. Not sure if it will help with wrinkles but it's great for dry skin.
Bentley Torres
Eat more food with antioxidants such as goji, grapes, etc.
James Powell
How does it feel knowing you'll be dead in 10 years LMAO.
Ian Evans
coconut oil is comedogenic if you're at all acne prone, using that shit is like kicking yourself in the balls

>Most people use face lotion Depends on the country. Whites in the US don't use it, look like shit. Blacks in Africa don't use it, look like shit. Blacks in the US DO use it, no wrinkles. Asians in Asia DO use it, no wrinkles.
