As a beginner, what programming can I do to work on pulling strength without fucking up my form and having shit turn into a conventional deadlift?

max double as heavy as you can with good form
drop the weight and do backoff sets with ~80% of the double weight

focus on the essentials of a pull (weight in balls of feet, scaps down/retracted, look up/ahead, no early hip rise, etc)
