Just be torow when chaning diet, it is not that hard. Most people are actually deficient in important vitamins, not just vegans/vegetarians. If you actually know what you put in your body you will notice it is simple to get an vitamins and minerals (except of course B12).

There's a few things wrong with that reverting study. Firstly, it dates back to '84, so you've got multiple decades of people who didn't have easy access to the right nutritional information in order to do it right.

It also didn't discriminate reasoning for being vegan. A lot of people who go vegan or vegetarian for health or weightloss routines are naturally going to find an easier diet that can achieve the same effects.

More people going vegan is against the interests of grain producers. Livestock are fed enormous amounts of grain relative to the amount of meat they produce, so people eating less meat and replacing it with grain would actually lower the demand for grain.
