My life is shit and coffee + pastry is the only highlight of the day, if it's a rest day.

Some people needed the kick, it's an antioxidant. Energy drinks are just shit. I used to drink 2 a day and tons of coffee, now I have 2 cups o' coffee and water after that. I would argue I don't need the coffee anymore cause now I feel better in the morning, but it's better to keep easing off it.

I am pretty sure coffee fucks me up worse than alcohol.

Being caffeinated is enjoyable, I usually work harder for the 4-5 hours of energy. It's very helpful for reading science literature, I have a hard time without it. Also fun socially.

I legit love both the taste and smell of fresh coffee. Aside from that it's a nice energy boost, and it curbs hunger which helps with my OMAD streak

ritaline is great but the best is still extended release form, adhd person here, extended release is on the course of 8-9 hour and you basically microdose it, ritaline is 10 mg of methylphenidate almost instantly, it give you a ompf when it start having effect,

You may have a heart problem, go to a doctor and avoid saunas. Abstaining from caffeine will not cure a problem if there is one, though it'll decrease the risk.

hard to be certain but I know I suffered greatly. you won't realize how indifferent doctors are until you're truly suffering and they push you out of their office. had Dilated cardiomyopathy. past 5months of my life were hell.

My family always had diet soda growing up, would regularly drink a liter or so of pepsi max or coke zero senior year hs. Never had energy drinks before but freshman year one of the frats I went to had free sugarfree red bull and the dining halls had soda fountains so it enabled me. I drink a ton of water though so it hasn't affected me negatively yet other than pissing constantly. Getting off of it for the most part, but it helps a lot when I'm trying to start a cut or break another habit, just take a sip of coke zero when I get an urge to do whatever I'm not supposed to be doing

Lmao caffeine consumption is out of control. A cup of coffee is like 60-90 mg of caffeine. The shit people drink nowadays is way above that. A can of sip is like 160 if i remember right. A can of Rockstar is 240. Preworkouts also have insane caffeine content. A serving of some a preworkout my friend has includes 480 mg of caffeine.
