Redpill: the reason you can't lift 1/2/3/4 for 1 rep after 6 months of lifting is because you don't ever do heavy singles/doubles/triples

Redpill: if you want bigger numbers you need to lift heavy; "volume" alone isn't going to cut it

Redpill: you lift shit because you don't push yourself, you never do sets less than 5

Disregard this if you lifted 1/2/3/4 in less than 8 months. You made the good genetics club, welcome

1234 is for singles? I've been trying to do it for reps this entire time.

I did 1/2/3/4 after 3 months starting with the bar. How do you guys have such shit genetics?

Redpill: 0.5/1/2/3 is enough

0.8, 1.5, 2.1, 3 is the cutoff

Cope

Yeah if you were born with a vagina lol

I'm here to stop this thread decline.

except those are completely disproportionate, even for a weak cunt.

Nearly everyone who makes 1/2/3/4 within 6 months is actually just a fat cunt who can deadlift their bodyweight.

1/1.5/2.5/-
Deadlifts are a meme unless you PL

So provisional numbers just happens to be whole numbers and halves?

Redpill: it should be relative to bodyweight. I gained 25kg and got massive strength despite not changing the other variables.

I thought the same thing.

My goal is to get fit enough to go topless on a holiday in June, after that I’m
Packing ont he weight and bulking like a
Madman, ready to cut next feb!!

literally no one

>tfw 65 kg and only 1/2/4(for eights)
squats are tough for me for some reason got 125 kg x 8 so far

I almost believe you, I've never seen anybody at my gym deadlift 4 plates, even the huge as fuck guys

I did. Maybe your inferior numale genetics just prevent you from achieving more than utterly substandard results.

Maybe stop going to planet fitness?

I know a 5'1 160lbs woman who literally benches just over her bodyweight, squats 320, and deadlifts 320. You're pathetically weak as a lifter at this level. Men walk into gyms on their first day and achieve these lifts.

Bait thread but no one(none) reaches 1/2/3/4 in less than a year starting from nothing. Even then, it takes years to reach that for reps.

Me, reddit PPL

NOBODY deadlifts 3pl8 on day one I don't care how fat you are

REAL REDPILL COMING

If you're going for aesthetics, telling people how much you OHP/Bench/Squat in absolute numbers is pointless. It should be down on a bodyweight ratio basis.

For example, a guy who weighs 70kg at 12% body fat and can OHP 50kg is far more impressive than a guy who weighs 80kg at 18% body fat but can OHP 60kg.

If you're looking at building strength, then yes use absolute numbers, but for the majority of people trying to get aesthetics, just saying "1/2/3/4" is stupid and pointless.

1/2/3/4 with 10% bodyfat then.

I achieved 0.5/2/3/- in 7-8, don’t DL though.

The ultimate redpill:
>No matter how much you lift you will never be happy

Attached: 1505042280445.jpg (786x576, 156K)

Lel no. Benching 135 is enough? Yeah fuck right out of here, an untrained high schooler should be able to do that

But I'm insanely happy when I lift.
I gym for four hours at a time and am creeping up on 2/3/4/5. Though the rest of my life is near constantly on the verge of falling apart desu.

Conversely:
>you are only happy when you lift

FUCK it's for singles? God damn it all.

>I did 1/2/3/4 after 3 months starting with the bar. How do you guys have such shit genetics?

It's called not being fat or being 18 and under

people who are naturally very large and muscular. definitely not normal people.

Add being a manlet

fucked around on a self-made brosplit for a year and then did SL 5x5 and got to 1/2/3 for 5 within three months but deadlift is stalling (can do 315 for 5)

I don't think it's impossible for any untrained natty to reach 1/2/3/4 within 6-8 months, but they need to have a very good diet and proper programming.

I think the issue is a lot of people fall into the strictly bodybuilding mindset where they focus on high volume for single muscle groups each day of the week instead of hitting the same groups 2-3x a week, because that was my issue.

Attached: IMG_6546.jpg (750x743, 93K)

Word, volume is a meme and everything that isn't a single is a warmup.

5/4/3/2/1 master race reporting

Sure they do. You're just a low T inferior genetics numale.

Lurk more faggot

Nigga everytime this info is brought up you guys just meme so don't tell me to lurk more

Lol no. This is why you're small and weak by the way. Guaranteed you haven't been training for longer than a year.

yeah they do idiot, do you even know what a deadlift is? get a load of this guy...

Between learning proper form and finding an acceptable program to train on, it'll take at least a few months before you have it down. From there, you may up your stats but most people stall because they have to adjust how they train or find a proper schedule. When people say untrained, it implies no sports or lifting background. A complete novice basically. Going from that to intermediate in less than year isn't likely. For natty lifters, it's safe to assume you'll train for years which isn't a bad thing.

If I want a top heavy body how's 1/1/1/1 as a goal? I just want a healthy lower body and I feel squatting and deadlifting a pl8 for reps should take care of that. I'm also not a big fan of huge pecs or arms either. currently OHPing 15kg DBs for 5 after two months of lifting and I feel I can get to my goal in about six months if I concentrate on one lift.

How heavy should I be to achieve 1/2/3/4 at 5'11"?

>FOR ONE REP
All of these are easy as fuck if it's only for a single rep

>/Fat/

>For reps
Is my favorite meme. By definition, it means that you don't have planned progression and are halfassing your training.

idk man, she has guy's feet. Whatever toots your boots tho

To maintain bone health and decrease injury risk on your long runs, sure.
My training partner (female) is closing in on those numbers.

Because, if you've lurked here more than a week you'd notice; not only is most of Jow Forums gay, they also have a deep-rooted and bitter hatred towards all women in general. I imagine it's because many were fat/ugly and scorned by women which scared them for life while their brains were still developing, and as a result are now attempting to compensate by getting Jow Forums. With all that said though Jow Forums is still a great at place to shit post and occasionally has good information.

Lifting on and off 14 years, bench 355.

I like volume on dips and pullups but the barbell compounds are all about weight

Fuck off you autistic faggot

This. I only come here to shitpost and make fun of the "hardcore" regulars

>be me, 5'10
>went from 185 to 210, and from 1/2/3/4 to almost 2/3/4/5 in about 20 weeks
>see threads like this
>wonder why everyone is such a weak cunt
plz explain

I got the deadlift at 5'9 180 but desu I started off at 3 plates for a Max(slipped a disk after) on my first time deadlift.

you went to almost a 2 plate ohp in 20 weeks?
ya right retard

considering i do 82.5kg 5x5, when i started at 47.5kg 5x5, i'd say yes i did

Wait what?? I'm 8 months lifting at 180 lb and hit 1/2/3/4 1 rep at my 7 month mark. Why are people saying you need to be obese to do it? Within a year? I literally benched 65 lb and squatted the bar my first day. I started where you started

Either I have godly genetics or you just don't know what you're doing. Stop trying to put others down because you're too lazy to put the work in. 1/2/3/4 1 rep is definitely ATTAINABLE after 6-8 months

...

This only appeals to literal homos

Looks so fucking nasty. 95% of the time I see body hair I want to vomit, people actually think this looks good in their overcompensation to be "masculine"

That's what you look like after lifting for 14 years? And you only bench 355? I really hope you're no heavier than 160lbs.

Pretty sure it's because I'm 5'6 and was 100 lbs when I started lifting. You keep (((redpilling))) though.

>butthurt skinnyfags with no gains, no secondary sex characteristics, and no pics
>on and off
I go like once/week and didn't work out at all like '10-'14. 215lbs

dog you look like shit. I unironically rather be a lanklet dyel than have your physique. Yikes

I've been lifting for two weeks and I'm on 05/.75/1/1.25, I don't think all 1s will do anything for you

Can someone explain what you mean by 1234 do you mean your body times whatever number?

0.5 no 05, all for reps

The number mean how many 45lbs/20kg plates are on either side, 1 means one on either side so 60kg with the bar, 2 means 2 on each so 100kg with the bar, etc.

Redpill: Never listen to Jow Forums
Redpill: Only a small demographic of the board looks good and those people rarely post
Redpill: When they do it's never some type of pill or serious discussion, just shitposting.
Redpill: The people that do pretend to know shit are all estaters that get mogged on the daily at their local gym.

What if I want to get definition and be aesthetic? Still need to do 1/2/3/4?

these are my favorite type of pics, when you can see the bulge on each side of the underwear

thats a fact. The only way I ever made it to my max strength was by starting every workout with compound 1rms.

when close to your genetic limit, if you dont lift heavy you dont get stronger, thats it

15% is better

Pretty much this, also the people that look good post some solid advice, once in a blue moon. They never post it in a "do this or fail" form though.

10/mo pretty hard to beat

would unironically pay 100's of dollars for that original painting

I benched nearly the same as you over a year ago and have been lifting for 3 years. Doing singles is why you're so underwhelming after over a decade of training.

Attached: IMG_20171221_170243.jpg (448x701, 259K)

Bodyweight before you brag. If you are a 300lb wailord who diddles 405, no one gives a shit.
>inb4 6'4 200lbs

you look fucking awful man

1/2/3/4 is OHP/bench/squat/deadlift 1RM, yes ?

It's on etsy.

Do you have a big ol' chest gap or something?

>how do I math
2Pl8 is 102.5 kg fgt

>it took him 6 months

You fucking genetic chad wannabe. I squatted 5pl8 my first time ever lifting because I thought 5x5 meant I was supposed to put 5 plates on each side of the barbell. The whole gym stared at me in shock and the owner personally came up to me and offered me a job as a PT lmao

just ignore it, it's a meme some teenager thinks is funny

i'm already past that though, and my body isn't as aesthetic as I want it to be

only a female would look fit with this
