Double stuff or regular?
t. can't even do 10 bodyweight dips
100lbs full rom+ (top of pecs below the bar). Symmetric Strength says I need to do 118lbs in order to be respected by the basketweaving community so I've been trying to work up to that.
Honestly though, 100lbs makes me pecs and triceps feel itchy and I have been super worried about a tear.
>but I'll risk anything to have you love me Jow Forums
+105 @ 150 lb
the whole can
1 plate for 5x50, not great but not bad either.
I do 5x5 with 15 pounds, but I tend to do them at the same as 5x5 pull ups with 15 pounds so Im not sure of my max
I think for shits and giggles I did 135lbs for 3 at 175 BW.
11 at 360-ish BW.
Bloatlord.
the most I did back when I used to dip was 50kg while weighing 72kg for a set of 3.
bw(228lbs)+90 x 10 sets x 5
Good post too bad the 14 you won't understand
I only came here to make this post.
Full double decker horseshoe x vomiting to failure
Symmetric Strength's dips weight is completely wrong, ignore it
Barely body weight because my left elbow hurts after every workout
10 wide w/ slow negative and pause
Can't do a single rep without my shoulder hurting so much that I think I'm gonna snap my shit. I know it's not a strength issue, because I was able to do them weighted a few years ago when my shoulder was a bit healthier.
Are you me?
Stretch your triceps
dips gave me motherfucking costochondritis and it lasted a long ass time. Cracking my chest caused even more pain at one point. Dips - NOT EVEN ONCE BOYS
Don't do dips my boys, we're all about the science here
whats wrong with dipp
5'10, 190lbs, 2pl8 5x5
so...280lbs 5x5 total
no it isnt
my incline bench and dip JUST both got to advanced, and they feel equally hard
You went too low and had shotty form. Same thing happened to me. Focus on hitting parallel and don't worry about the stretch in your chest or other bodybuilder nonsense
My cheeks hurt just looking at that pic.
I normally use a 70lbs kettlebell for 3 or 4 sets of 7...I've never tried for a 1 rep PR on weighted dips, seems like a great way to get injured.
Personal record is 5 reps with an extra 220lbs at a bw of 230lbs.
Mirin'.
5kg more than in this vid right now
>tfw dips hurt shoulders
Has anyone managed to cure this or is it a shoulder structure problem
3 sets, 10 reps, 20 kg added at 74kg bw
It's time to go heavier desu
Bodyweight 92kg, can do sets of 10 with 20kg added. I've only started doing them recently because I want to hit my lower chest more and bench just doesn't cut it
I dont know man i sure hope so
