What do I have to do and how long will it take me?
What do I have to do and how long will it take me?
Start lifting
Long time, easily 2-4 years.
I did, but just barely.
1-2 years
What do I have to do in order to get there in 1-2 years? I do bench/squat/ohp 5x5 and dl 1x5, and just today I started doing hanging leg raises. Should I be doing anything else?
Just do Blahas 5x5 until you have a good enough strength base then get a bodybuilding program if you're still not satisfied with the look.
And honestly by the time you hit 1/2/3/4 you'll probably look as good or even better than your goal body. (If you keep the low bodyfat.). If you focus just on strength the whole time and your diets right you can probably get there within a year and a half.
G luck bro
Don't take advice here though 50% of this is probably wrong
I took me 1.5 years
I just did full body work everyday with no break or cheat day
Also do every machine you see in the gym good luck
Thanks. I am roughly following StrongLifts 5x5, not exactly. I just looked up Blahas, I hadn't heard of it before. I am already at 1pl8 ohp, still 40/70/40 lb from 2/3/4.
Thanks. I had been doing at most once every other day, but just as of the past week and a half I am now doing every single day. I lift at home, I have a power cage/bench/bar/plates, no other equipment.
Steroids, ignore the retards who think they "did it in 1 years time", i guarantee they are sticks in real life and can barely squat 100kg for 5 reps.
I don't want to roid even if it would get me there much faster.
Steroids, 1.5 years.
Then shut up and start lifting, and eating. There isn't an easy way or quick way unless you roid, if you are going in natural 2-4 years.
mfw dude you have a great frame you should visit pharmacom, its a smaller deal than you think
Gonna tell you the truth. It's probably impossible for you to ever look like that without steroids. The guy in your pic is Sage Northcutt, and he was literally born and bred to look like that. He did martial arts in elementary school, and modeled as a child. Forget 1-2 years. Think a decade and a half of training, fighting, and indoctrination from his parents.
>breast fed muscle milk from birth
>father a known steroid dealer
>suck at mma
ehh. He's still really young. I'd go back and see how he fights in two to four years. His striking and wrestling is already at a very high level, as expected of TAM guys. If he can shore up his ground game, I think he can be the next generation of great lightweights.
You need to go back in time and get a steroid dealing snitch for a father.
His striking has potential but his grappling is ass. It seems like he's just one of those guys it doesn't click for. It doesn't flow.
What is this 1x5 deadlift meme? Like, what the fuck. I have a day where all I do is lower back and abs. I start with Romanian deads, then do stiff-leg deads, and before some shit about low weight, I can stiff-leg 425 and Romanian 460. That's at the end of my set too, like 1x10, 1x8, 2x5, then 1x3. You want to get big, get a tire and a sledge hammer, and hit that shit. Flip tires, do a ton of core work. If you don't, you won't get strong.
Take roids and start lifting ten years ago when you were a teenager.
>how long will it take me?
That time, no matter how long, is going to pass anyway. Don't worry about marking a calendar and just lift seriously.
Wow people are giving you weird responses. You're generally thin and have some muscle already. If you dedicated yourself and eat 1) clean and 2) a metric fuckton of protein then you can get there in six months or maybe a little less. Other anons don't believe me? Come on you've seen bodybuilders go through crazy cuts and gains, and actors beef up for roles in a ridiculously short time (because they have the money and constant dickpatting to encourage them to dedicate themselves).
If you can really have fun with it and do solid lifting every day save your rest days, you can get ripped quick as fuck man. Most people take longer because they don't want to push that hard. Get a buddy and lift together. Do it right with your basic body part rotations and etc. Don't believe these long time anons, I believe in you brah
