I've been cutting on 1500 kcal a day for about three months now and just started hitting 315# squats for 6+ reps a couple weeks ago. As long as you're hitting your protein and consistent I don't think your strength is going to diminish that much if at all.

Are you actually retarded? Either one of those could be used in a cut if you can still come in at your target calorie deficit. It's a brainlet-tier analogy anyway, whole milk and fat free milk have the same vitamin value in things like protein, D, and calcium, the latter just has less fat and therefore less calories. It's not a difference in portion, you're drinking the same amount of liquid with the same amount of vitamins for less calories.

lads i've been making breakfast shakes for the last two weeks now as it seems like a much easier way to bulk and get my breakfast in, and I can easily chug it on the bus
i add oats, whey, frozen fruit and ground flax/sunflower seed etc to make it
but is there a downside to drinking blended oats? is there any loss of nutrients or fibre that I'm missing from not cooking it conventionally?
I don't mind eating normal cooked oats, it just takes me ages to do so and I never have time in the morning, should I continue with the shakes?
