at this stage theres no such thing as being good/bad at certain lifts. youre bad at everything. like a child just learning to read and write isnt disproportionate because they learned to write their name a month before they did 2+2=4

start cleaning the bar off the floor if you're not already.

not sure if it is a placebo or something. but my ohp was stuck at 125 for months, while i was pressing in the power/squat rack. then i started cleaning it and it shot up to 160 after a little while. i think cleaning it prepares your body to be tighter or something, idk. just keep your glutes tight and dont bend your knees

My OHP is pretty shitty too even though I just started, I'm at like 65lb. The last time I did 55 lb and was struggling but 65lb was a lot easier this time. My excuse is that I got rear-ended in a car and it fucked up my back and shoulders, I couldn't even do an empty barbell the first time I did OHPs

Finally pressed 75 lbs but fucked my shoulder up. What do?

At a novice stage, you're not experienced enough to be bad. What you really mean by this is, why can I bench/squat/dead so much more than ohp? The answer is that ohp is the compound here that uses the least amount of muscle in conparison. Just lift eat and sleep brah.
