Woke up this morning and my lower back was on fire.
Why didn't you warn me, Jow Forums? I studied the proper form and everything.

Im doing my deadlifts PERFECTLY.
Still get sore back in the morning to the point where I can barely lift shit the next day.
Pain=gains. Welcome to the burn.
Just as long as it isn't sharp and actual pain. Then you might want to get it checked.
But I read online and saw that you aren't supposed to get a sore back from DL's.
Isn't it a lower body exercise anyway?
Sore =/= pain
How do I tell the difference then?
Ignore these retards, OP. Deadlifts work the glutes and hamstrings. If your back hurts or feels sore afterward it's because you had poor form.
Pain is sharp and acute. Stabbing, precise. Knees, shoulders and joints in particular are susceptible. Stop immediately.
Sore is tightness, weakness of an area. You still have mobility, but that area just feels heavier and unwillingly.
Pain comes from damage that can be long lasting or permanent.
Sore is from a buildup of lactic acid, improper hydration or general fatigue. All of which can be remedied in a short period of time or an adjustment in your diet.
It's a fucking back exercise. If you're lifting correctly your back will feel fatigued, along with your legs. If you feel pain you're obviously doing something wrong and should deload to rework your form.
wait if the problem even persists. i had pretty extreme soreness when starting the diddly
Sore lower back = you failed to keep it neutral. Probably as a result of improper breathing/bracing.
Record yourself deadlifting, I bet you look like a cat.
Dipshit. The posterior chain includes the quadratus lumborum. Deadlifts are the single best back exercise.
Well if it was your first time deadlifting i guess you haven´t been traning for a long time so you don´t really know the difference between soreness pain or injury pain.
Do you feel any restriction on your lumbar movility?
I still have my mobility. I was ablo stretch after my workout and when I woke up this morning. It justs a lot.
*it just hurts a lot
Thats pretty natural id say, its a new difficult compound. As long as its not straight up stinging nerve pain youll be fine in 2 days.
pain is weird. i tell my patients "just because it may hurt, doesn't mean that it harms."
my back is sore for a week whenever i test maxes. don't worry about it mane, you'll be fine. your spine is surprisingly hard to fuck up, especially when you're young.
On Fire is good. As long as it’s not sharp pains.
Your lower back NEVER has to be sore the day after
Thats because you did bad form
Soreness should be all about hammies glutes and soinal erectors
Correct your form or you are going to snap city
where exactly do you think your erectors are located?
this faggot has sore spinal erectors, quadratus, etc from his FIRST TIME EVER dead lifting. he'll be fine, quit fear mongering.
First time doing any big exercise is going to make you extra sore. If it's really bad then give yourself a day off and get lots of protein.
no your spine is INCREDIBLY EASY to fuck up, do not listen to this man!
Stop regurgitating shit you heard on a video
>deadlifting
w2c brown pl8s them shits are fire
thank you for making Jow Forums (and the world at large by extension) stupider. you're doing god's work.
Deadlifts always make me feel like I'm wearing a kind of corset the next day
Like the pain is like a woman hugging up against my lats with her fingers creeping round my torso just above my ribs
found the sissy
Who has that gif of that kid deadlifting and almost completely arching his back when he does it?
Incorrect. You're all fucking retarded. Deadlifts ARE PRIMARILY HIT YOUR LOWER BACK. They also primarily hit other muscles, but if your lower back is sore, your spinae erector, you've done it right. If it hurts, that's different. One is warm, and dull, the other is sharp and isn't always there.
Completely wrong. The spinal erectors should do almost none of the lifting, all they do is isometric stabilization. If you're lifting with your back you're doing it wrong.
>all they do is isometric stabilization
So you're saying that they're working?
Yes. Yes, they are. And if your erectors are weak, you'll feel it the next day. Isometric stabilization is work. Work can cause soreness.
