Alright bros, red pill me on pork. Chicken is held in high regard in the fitness industry due to it being a fairly cheap source of lean protein, beef although more expensive also seems to be on of the go to meats, but you rarely hear anyone talk about pork, are there an drawbacks with pork as opposed to other meats? I myself don't like pork all that much purely because it doesn't taste as good to me as beef or even chicken, but even so I'll still take a slice of ham any day of the week

Pork is higher fat but the fat isn't bad for you. Just cook it properly, don't fry it. BBQ tenderloin is very, very tasty and, pork is great in soups. Try eating pork belly, its high in fat but adds tonnes of flavour if youre making a broth with bones overnight.

Pigs are so fucking comfy. They are the nicest and comfiest animal I ever seen. When I was a child we used to visit these farms and I would go rub and pat the pigs, shit was so cash.

That being said, I love the taste of pork meat. Fuck me I had some delish pork chops today, the fat is just too good to be true. If you get enough omega 3 I don't see the reason why the fat would be a problem.

Pork is ok but I can never get it as flavorful as chicken or beef. The only way I can get tasty pork is deep frying it (think carnitas)

Kind of. It's hard to know if what they do is coming from the animal brain or the thinking brain (those aren't real terms, I just made it up). Like if a was pig opened a door some would say that it learned from humans and understood the mechanism, but it could just as well have been fiddling with it because pigs like to interact with stuff, not thinking about getting to the other side.
But you can tell that there's something going on behind their eyes, more so than other animals. Maybe it's because their eyes look very human, but I feel like I can see them thinking.

The key to tasty pork is having a good seasoning rubbed onto it and oven cooking. That and applesauce, just making it yourself
