I've got a 109kg snatch and 125kg clean at 84kg bw
My overall strength is pretty average, back squat 1rm 160kg. Thinking about hopping onto a real routine or finding a coach, but how much does that really help when my squats the limiting factor?
Nathan Turner
your 'competitiveness' really depends on your competition. you're not going to nationals with those numbers, but you could probably do 'ok' at a local meet. your ratios are fucked btw
Parker Ramirez
Get a stronger squat.
You need to add about 80-90kg to your total to be nationally competitive. You're not gonna get there without getting your back squat up to 200kg+
Noah Price
My clean is over 90% of my front squat and I literally can't stand up if I try to add more weight.
My snatch is high because I train it a lot more often and I've got the perfect body proportions for it.
I'm assuming if I focus on front squat training and get it to 150 kg in the short term the numbers will even out a bit.
Daniel Parker
Can’t backsquat because a weird hip injury, doing the squat part from Dan Johns basic setup, yes or no?
It’s pretty much LP 5x5 fs 3x a week so like any other beginner.

tighter lower back from floor harder explosion, straight up, you're leaning back
Ian Young
I've only done OHS with snatch grip. How's that feel?
Tyler Long
Like I’m stuck
Parker Richardson
Still kinda deadlifting?
Joshua Rivera
the pull is fine, your back is just a little relaxed and your explosion is slow and weak

>tfw hopping from one little injury to another progress is slow as molasses at least i'm nearly the strongest i've ever been BW 205lbs 295lbsx3 BS 265lbsx3 FS 225lbsx1 C&J 170lbsx1 snatch (was 190lbs a few years ago) still recovering a bit from rolling my ankle, and now my right shoulder is acting up after some crazy progress on snatch push presses. hardest part of the olympic movements is the pull right now, it used to be the jerk. these numbers suck, but i'm really not built for this stuff apart from broad shoulders (6'2", long limbs - took forever to get my flexibility to where i could do ass to grass), so i have to accept them for now i guess. i also get lots of compliments, which i don't understand >nice shoes >how do you get under the bar so fast etc.
Liam Barnes
by "pull" i mean the second pull. pulling it off the ground is not an issue and i'm reasonably quick at getting under it despite the distance i have to travel

>too much of a soft, manlet, GDE bitch to compete in powerlifting/strongman competitions >discover you can play with a bouncy bar instead >become a crossfit cuckold >mfw
what it's like being such embarrassing, weak little faggots? you look like shit, you (might) do some totally useless bar bouncing instead of actually lifting weights and everybody thinks you're a bunch of pompous shit stains since EVERY crossfit dumb fuck fits that bill.
tell me so i have more reasons to laugh at you. also, your last crossfit general went into the archive after FEWER THAN 60 POSTS. L M F A O !
