My claim that this applies to "most of people" is a bold statement that I obviously cannot know. I give you that.
However, it's not completely made up - just look at how high divorce rates let alone failing relationships or unhappy marriages are. There has to be a reason for that.
If I combine that with what I can see with relationships that are happening all around me (family and closer friends and also myself + new relationships of ex partners) I can very well make a statement and have an argument about it with someone.
