There are people on this board right now that bench somewhere other than in the power rack.

Yeah, I bench on the bench because the power rack resting heights are not optimal and hurt my shoulders
>hogging a power rack to do SS
I hate you so much.
Do you think we are that autistic? Of course not.
I don't bench, i do weighted push ups
>tfw my gym has six power racks
Theres no going back to those dedicated bench press stations. They're awful most of the time. No safety bars and the pins are usually too high or too low
Just came to post this.
Both racks at my gym have the slots in an in-between height. One is too high and it means extending and ruining your setup, the other too low and forces you to bring your elbows back at an odd angle, again ruining your setup
You should do weighted necks in the noose.
Literally me
Based le squat bench deadlift poster
My mom says bench press will make me too big for nighttime milkies so I don’t do it at all
There are no safeguards on the power rack in my gym unfortunately.
Aren't those safety bars a bit low for incline bench press?
There are people in this thread right now that are too autistic to ask for a spot
I never benched in a power rack until I bought my own for a home gym. It's pretty sweet
Safety bars are better than a spotter. They're guaranteed to catch the weight, and they won't do that "all you bro" shit
>pins are usually too high or too low
the fuck is up with this shit anyway?
it's like they designed every single bench station for either t-rex mutants or lanky kongs
Once the safety bars catch the weight, how do you get out? Call over some normie to take the plates off?
There are people in my gym that are too retarded to spot, either catching too early or not catching at all looking at their phone even though you gave them instructions on how to spot.
I do half reps and load the bar on the safety bars. There is enough room to get out from underneath.
....stand up, step over the bar, and lift it back into the rack....
Depends on the rack. There should be enough room to just roll the bar down the safeties and climb out. If not you might be able to grab onto the bench behind you and pull yourself out.
>Benching flat backed
Imagine being this much of a scrub
Reach up and grab the top, lift your legs, wrap them around the power rack, extend them and straddle the ceiling vent, crawl over to the water fountain and dip your hand down for water, keep moving forward until you are over the gym mats, let go and drop onto your back/neck, hit up the Pepsi machine before your Natty vegan bodyweight session, tip the receptionist while peeking out of the corner of your eye to see if the strong gym-goers have taken your weight off for you, if yes go and spot them and encourage them to pump out another rep, once they are dead complain to staff and you'll have gotten out from under the bar, figuratively and literally.
HA DUDE THIS IS GOING ON Jow Forums4CHAN LMAO
Kys immediately
What's the point in doing this unless you're using over 400lbs? Why not just ask for a spot?
I can't bench in the power rack because the safety bars have to rest higher than my chest.
