I honestly don't know what I was expecting.

>it breaks
did your "bulking" ass snap the frame?

whats wrong with it? flat tire or brakes stopped working? did chain come off? if its with the derailleur then dam.
i think the best amount to spend on a bike is $990 usd after taxes. you pretty much get what you pay for. i have two $5500 bikes and they are fine but there is a huge diminishing return after the first thousand spent. they make $10,000 dollar bikes and the only difference you can notice (to the $5000 version) is slightly different mechanical parts like the chain. 100% not trolling, the benefit you gain from a 10K bike instead of a 5K bike is 1%.

The handle bars were lose as fuck. When I stood up, the handlebars twisted all the way down. The breaks were shit too, they hardly did anything. The whole thing was just a death trap desu.

>buying bike shaped objects from super center
lmao
go to a real bike store

user that just means it was put together poorly.
take it to a fucking bike shop and have them adjust it and check the assembly.

also
>that fucking saddle
kek

i hear they are mass produced and somebody has to mass put them together so it doesnt get done too cautiously and perfect. a set of allan wrenches (like 6 hex keys) are like $1.77 at a hardware store, you can tighten most of the stuff with those

jesus christ. are you really this fucking retarded and helpless?

Most department store bikes aren’t even out together correctly. If you have Allen wrenches just start by tightening everything. Brakes are super easy to adjust too. YouTube videos will teach you how to do maintenance on every part of the bike.

If you can’t be bothered take it to a shop so they can assemble it correctly so you don’t die when the handlebars fly off unexpectedly.

Also shame on you for buying a bike from target, you’re not an 8 year old kid

Provided your mass produced superior Chinese pigiron allan wenches don't brake on you.

First, you're a retard. New bikes need ADJUSTMENTS to tighten various shit. The handlebars were probably just loose (but even then how tf did they twist down when you stood? I've had loose handlebars due to lacking the tool, still rode the bike numerous miles no problem just being careful to put no weight on them.) Brakes probably need adjusting as well, they aren't broken you retard.
Second WHO THE FUCK BUYS A BIKE FROM WHITE PEOPLE WALMART THINKING IT'S ANYTHING BUT WALMART TIER JUNK. Go to craigslist and buy a proper used roadbike. My bike retails for 1600 new and I bought it for 175, with all of 20 miles on the poor thing, practically brand new. Now your retard poorfag self can get a decent bike for cheap. Next step TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL BIKE SHOP AND GET IT FITTED, ADJUSTED, AND TUNED. This will cost $200 and it's worth it, you only need to do that like once a year with hard riding. Still costs way less than a car.
Third, LEARN BASIC MAINTENANCE. I'm a retard who can barely use a can opener and even I can do basic bike maintenance like make adjustments, tighten shit, etc.
And why are you getting a hybrid bike? What was your intention? If it will never see a dirt trail just get a road bike. Retard. Lurk /n/ and stop posting.
t. obligate bike commuter, regularly 20 miles a day.

Thank you, user.

If you buy a bike off a walmart/target/whatever rack, it is not ready to ride. Period. Never trust a bike to be safely assembled at that store. Get you a basic bitch tool set like any adult should have, include allen and crescent wrenches. The narrow type, not that fat shit you can't fit into tight spaces. Doesn't have to be too high quality since you're just gonna use them to tighten up a bicycle.

>not getting a hybrid when roads have a tendency to have a bunch of bullshit bumps and gravel
road bikes are for fags and professionals (also fags)

This is now a "post your bike" thread.

That's what memeskins are for. Why make the entire bike heavier when you can just get slightly thicker tires?
np, join cyclist master race and throw your cage off a bridge.
Scattante full carbon roadie (essentially a canondale for mid market)

Get a used Specialized from craigslist

I buy these things all the time, when not just pulling them off the curb. When I buy dept store bikes I get them boxed... I don't even want their employees touching them. 90 pct of issues with dept store bikes are assembly issue... rest are niggly problems with cheap parts, which you either live with or do minor upgrades to fix.

have you tried tightening the screws on the handlebars and calibrating the brakes buddy

>shilling slow, shitty hybrids
>not knowing that you to lift his ass off the seat when going over bumps on a road bike
>calling other people fags

get a load of this guy

Problems I've seen and corrected for neighbor kids... forks backwards, insane wide brake gap, dragging pads, pads into spokes, super loose derailleur cables and brake cables, handlebars upside down, out of true wheels, laughably poor fitment of bar height, saddle fore aft, etc. None of this stuff requires even new parts, just 15 min with someone competent.

Are clipless pedals worth it?
I don't want to get into a situation where I can't unclip and get fucked

I used to run spd on mountain bike. Requires some setup to avoid knee issues. Uncliping was never an issue

It should be expected to hold anything over 400 pounds

So even if you used two they still probably would have broken

>that bike
>those stickers
>that Audi logo on a VW steering wheel

Are you 12?
