>be me, 5 ft 11 >mom 5 ft 5, dad 5 ft 6, both brothers 5 ft 8 >always feel pretty happy about height >was watching TV show, character is an doctor/detective, Mentions stimulants such as ritalin may stunts growth if used for prolonged time >suddenly remembered used to be hyper as a child (ritalin is used to treat ADHD and hyperactivism usually) >text mom, did i ever took ritalin as a child >my fucking face when i found out the lil white pills she been feeding me every morning throughout childhood for YEARS Were ritalin >suddenly remembers how i used to throw up breakfast almost routinely which caused me to be very skinny as a child >look up potential height stunted from ritalin >2-3 inches >my fucking face when i realized i could’ve been 6 ft 1 or even 6 ft 2 chad but instead stuck at 5 ft 11 manlet

Just turned 18 and I'm 5 ft 8 What should I do lads? Most of the men in my family are tall...

I was 5'2 at age 17. Was completely resigned to being a manlet. Hit my puberty growth spurt incredibly late. Grew 11 inches in 8 months. Ended up 6'3" at 21. Taller than anyone in my entire family and damn thankful of it.
Grayson Ross
hahaha same happened to me sometimes i wonder if swimming in your teenage years just magically makes you grow tall for some reason.
My cousin has been swimming her whole life too and she's the same height as me.
And both of us were one of the shortest kids in class.

This is the dream. Some basketball players grew 8 inches after being 6' at 18. Meanwhile i have been stuck at 5'11 since i was 16 baka.

Ian Brooks
I think i can get an inch or two by fixing my posture. Plus another one by working back muscles. Being 6 ft by then will definitely improve my selfconscious brain.

If you swim competitively streamline helps you grow taller because youre extending your spine throughout the motion. I have no idea about recreationally >T. UCLA swimmer
Nathaniel Johnson
Yeah that makes sense! I don't think i've ever swam "recreationally" ever either.
Apparently the ritalin itself does fuck all to stunt growth Its side effects of nausea/ vomit which puts growing kids at caloric deficit is the one that usually does the stunting

>17 >manlet How the fuck can you be a manlet when you aren’t even a man yet? If anything you’d have been a manlet in training.
