I eat Taco Bell, McD’s or frozen dinners every single fucking day. Gained 40 lbs in the past year, from 210 at 5’8 to 250. Tried completely changing my diet at once, also fasting, but it was much too difficult for me to maintain. What are some ways I can ween myself off if I have a fast food addiction?

You don't have an eating disorder. You just need to get some willpower. Do intermittent fasting, don't try to go for extended periods of time. 16:8 worked wonders for me. And just make your meals at home.

I started smoking cigs once and after a few packs I asked myself why the fuck I did it and stopped. It's the same for you. Why the fuck do you do this to you. The food gives you a little pat on the back, a little satisfaction in the moment, then it bloats your body and face and fattens you up like a pig. It makes you unattractive and will literaly kill your dick and libido while you should be in your prime years.. Your shits become strange and you don't feel good a few minutes after you ate it. But you keep going back to that little pat it gives you. Keep eating like that if you want to go further down the road. If you want food to make you feel strong and powerful and use it as fuel to your body and mind then eat clean. You save a lot of money on the way

You don't ween yourself off of fast food, you stop eating it altogether. Get the junk food out of your house and start going to the grocery store every couple days to replenish your fresh foods. It's a lifestyle change, not something which you can termporarolly do.
If you have no intention on stopping fast food at all, that is all good of course. You can still lose weight, it's all about calories in/calories out, in essence, count your fucking calories of what you eat daily. This goes for anyone trying to gain weight or lose weight, for you I'd recommend eating 2.3k calories a day, maybe 2.4k, with one cheat day a week. People will try to tell you to eat 1.5k but that is pretty unhealthy especially at your weight, you might even loose muscles mass, and that's DEFINITELY NOT what you want to lose.

Prep your meals OP. Cut out sugars, and carbs. Just eat meat and greens. 2 meals a day. Stop eating at 10 pm, and don't eat again until noon - 1 pm. Get rid of any crackers, chips, and shit like that in the house. If you have to snack, do celery and carrots. Have a piece of fruit during the day as well if you crave sugar. NO FUCKING SODAS, JUICE, OR ENERGY DRINKS. Water, coffee, tea (not sweet or flavored Ice Teas)
Go for a walk 20-30 minutes a day either in the am, or after you lift.

What works for me is eating before I feel hungry, I know that if I'm hungry for a while I'll give in, so I just make some low kcal shit before or at the moment I feel hunger.

You can steal eat those things and not be a fat monster. I work out of town a lot and eat a bunch of fast food. Grilled chicken sandwiches anywhere are alright somewhere between 330-430 Cals 40 grams carbs 35 grams protein. Skip the fries and soda and get a water and you’re golden. If you’re active and lift you can eat that shit like 10 times a day and be fine. Salad works too but everywhere puts a fit tax on them and they’re stupid expensive. MOD pizza is an option if you don’t go nuts and chipotle can work too. He’ll Chinese takeout can be worked in if it’s just once a day and chicken/beef & broccoli and some rice.
You say it's too difficult but it's really not. Cut out all sugary drinks. Energy drinks, juice, soda/pop, smoothies, and milkshakes. Only water and milk. Limit milk, too cause of the fats. Consume lots of fat. Cut out lots carbs to help cut off the fat. Limit bread to only wheat breads and potato bread. No white bread. No cookies, cake or any other desserts. Also cut out potato chips completely and limit french fries. It sounds hard but it's actually really easy. Look up different healthy meals that are low in carbs.

There is next to no fat food that exists in a vegan diet. I lacked willpower as well. Now, I don't, because there is absolutely nothing at fast food places that fits my diet.
Do it for the environment. Do it for your health. Do it to minimize suffering.

Just be intelligent about it. A healthy vegan diet requires careful monitoring to ensure you are getting all of your micronutrients and getting complete amino chains.
