Lifting is not enough to have a fullfilling life and land a good partner. Don’t strive to be a meathead who has nothing to his life exept lifting.
——OPs Guide To A Good Life—— Liffting: >spend some time to learn the basics of training and nutrition >lift and eat accordingly >Don’t waste time learning everything about every program and diet >when you plateu, research for a solution >repeat
Appearance: >Learn about mens clothing, mens classical style is a good place to start >focus on buying clothes that really fit you >go to a tailor or learn to do basic tailoring on your own if you need to >clean grooming and hair >this + lifting will easily take you from a 5 to an 8
Smarts: >start reading books >go for a book per month, thats 15 minutes a day >with every book you’ll gain insihgt to something >Novels are good for emphaty and emotional inteligence >non fiction for hard knowledge
Supporting yourself: >No matter the field, trades or academics, whatever, study for and land a professional level job >if you’re currently doing a fasfood type job, start community college or whatever you have to to get an education
Post your face, your body, post book reviews of the last 12 books you read (a year by your schedule) and your job, income, etc.

YOU ARE FLAMING FUCKING FAGGOT GETTING A DOPAMINE RUSH FROM PREACHING ON THE INTERNET
Blake Gomez
Someone tries to help others improve and all you faggots have to say is this.
Joseph Morgan
>Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Michael Walker
He basically said: >look and dress better >acquire knowledge (books) and get a better job
Jaxon Lopez
Thats really basic shit op, most people might not know this true but fit just doesn't seem to care enough to improve themselves half the board are dyel ,probably more.
Robert Hughes
And post feet too
Benjamin Smith
Being a wagecuck is not a good life.
Adam Harris
wow i should dress well and read? fuck thanks op should i stop eating garbage too?
Ethan Bennett
It really is but my inpiration was a lad I know who keeps whining about not getting the grad school 10s even tough he’s “so shredded” and “deserves” them. The guy works at the mcDonalds down the road from Stanford Law. Yes that’s literally all it takes. Won’t post pics or extensive reviews but I’m 5 10 175lbs round 10% bf. I work in middle management for a logistics firm. I’m hoping to get up to the corparate after finishing my MBA. This month I’ve read Thinking fast and slow by daniel kauhman. I’d reccomend it to everyone interest in behavioral sciences. Really opens your eyes regarding hoe you make desicions in your day to day life. And the girl at the package claim -by Gish Jen, a overview of the east west culture gap. Realy interesting read as well.
Jason Barnes
Wish i could dress like that, but its too fucking cold where i live.
Blake Butler
How about getting off Jow Forums and actually doing some of those things you fucking faggot?
Charles Walker
I live in a cold climate too. It’s both a curse and blessing. The winter is when you can layer clothes to make great and more interesting looks.
Oliver Edwards
Nothing about developing hobbies... morality... empathy and emotion aside from books.
Nothing about actually developing character, just superficial vanity and "status/SMV"
Also, to the roasters in this thread take a look at the image attached to this comment.
I’m already trying to do a few of these things. Saving this OC in hopes of making it some day.
Dylan Robinson
I did consider making a hobby paragraph and propapbly should have.
I don’t know a way to devope your morality that’s universal so I didn’t include it. After all giving people that works on me but not them would hold little value.
Josiah Cook
Good job user
James Nelson
Well, I respect your thread and I see no reason why people are griping about it. They can just scroll down instead of waste their time and energy to complain like insolent mouthbreathers.
Definitely add a hobby paragraph. That's key to developing a persona and using healthy coping skills. Empathy.. that's a difficult one. Extremely underrated though.
Before anyone calls me out:
225 bench 350 squat 410lbs dead
Zachary Rivera
I’d like to think that furthering your education, becoming smarter and better physical fitness holds value in itself rather than as a way to gain SMV. The looks part tough, is 100% about status and self confidence. I don’t see a reason not to strive for status when it’s that easy and takes so little time.
Jason Ortiz
I can’t seem to edit the post so there won’t be a hobby paragraph.
These responses I’m getting seem pretty standard for Jow Forums. I’m happy if I get trough to one user actually ready to get their life on track.
Ryan Jenkins
already like you better than Jordan Peterson
Blake Campbell
Status takes a great deal of time and is not easy to acquire. You have to work your way up the dominance (competency) heirarchy of a workplace and have a high paying job as a very conscientious man. Status also entails a large social circle and influence, as well as how you are perceived by others. It is not easy by any means, and it is a long-term investment.
Evan Gutierrez
Shorts are a no go outside of Northern Europe, Eastern Europe and North America
Carson Wright
Also what's wrong with today's fashion? Oversized t-shirts and polo's are back and the models that are wearing them are skinny as fuck
Reading books doesn't make you smarter than researching on the internet. I can research 100x the things and in a quarter of the time by just Googling shit or watching documentaries on YouTube. People act like reading a book will give you 30 extra IQ points or something. It's just a more inefficient and pretentious way of learning.
Robert Wright
Of course. I was really refering to the percieved status that simply looking sharp reflects. Actually becoming ifluential is hard.
Cameron Williams
Shorts are all you can stand to wear in Australia m8y
Lucas Lee
Why would you be anywhere else?
Matthew Anderson
I find that spending some time on a subjet does wonders for internalising it. Also books on a single subject are far more extencive and better structured than reading articles online. Of course if you find something as extencive online it’s pretty much the same thing, but then what are you doing if not reading a book online? There’s study that Paul Dolan reffers to in Happines By Desing where two groups were assgned to research the same thing one online and one in the libary. Both groups were given same amount of time to prepear for a test on the subject and the one who studied in the libary scored something like 30% better. Of course taking a test is hardly a measure of inteligence but this study seems to conform with the hypothesis that reading online results in skimming trough the material and therefore more superficial knowledge. That paired with the fact that at this day an age we sit in front of screens far too much. I’m going for a paperback over google anytime.
Cameron Campbell
Also the material online and on the books was the same word to word.
Alexander Peterson
Twilight new moon. 8/10 God delusion 9/10 End of faith 8/10 Angels and demons 9/10
You joke but I do think having read those books, if you’re into that style, would be better than having read nothing. The very least it does is build a habbit of reading and as your tastes mature you can now ease into more advanced material.
Gavin Jackson
Or you pour shit into your mind, lacking the capacity to discriminate it becomes the foundational building stone of your thinking.
That defiitely doesn’t happen online? I’d rather build my thinking on someone’s thinking whos smarter than me than not build it at all. To me your statement is equivalent of a biginner guitarist saying he doesn’t want to learn songs because he wants to be original.
Dylan Robinson
Oh I tought you were on about the comment on internet vs books. Sorry
Elijah Nguyen
It's better to read nothing than fucking 'Twilight'.
Joseph Morris
It’s better to read what you’re into than mocking others preferences on an oline board.
Joseph Rodriguez
If you use hoodies, you are a lesser man. "I'm a man and don't care what other people think" is a poor excuse. You have a responsibility to dress classy/classical.
It’s really just that classy dressers ger more respect. It’s the old naked guy runs into a restaurant and yells “FIRE” versus guy dressed as a firefighter runs into a restaurant and yells “”fire” thing.
Jack Russell
In what way is the OP helpful to anyone? (serious question)
Oliver Martin

Lul you work in a fucking warehouse

I manage shipping. I fly between two offices weekly. Sucks for work life balance but it’s a good gig with plenty of room for promotions.
Christopher Howard
Seriously. Your face will look so much better when you’ve got a nice hair and beard.
Those shorts and that shirt are way too small for him lol
Nathaniel Hill
>Bro if you read books you're smart and attractive! Silly idiot. If you're a dumbass you'll stay a dumbass, no matter how many books you read. Smart people tend read books because they enjoy them, not because they think they'll get their dick wet and boost their appearance. Fucking /lit/ crossposters are ruining this board.
Jackson Barnes
This. One book a month isn't going to do shit anyway.
Xavier Jackson
this is more like a starter pack for guys in their 20's
or like a NEET guide to not being less of a faggot
OP don't call this a guide to a good life. a good life or meaningful life is much deeper then appearance - appearance - reading books - having a job
has the bloatlord taught you nothing? you need to understand what is meaningful and you have to LIVE IT
Ethan Morgan
No, it's not. Reading something as poorly written as Twilight might make you stupider.
Oliver Hill

I hate with a passion for wage slaves who brag about how being getting paid once a month is a fucking good life. I'd steal, rob, do illegal shit if it means I'd get away with it and not to be a wage cuck for the good years of my life.
Cooper Powell
>Awkward, alien posture >No concept of social formality (e.g., taking a picture) >Unusual bodily proportions/still conforming to the size of the skin So this is what a skincrawler looks like.
No chance whatsoever you'll ever make it sad sack.
Jason Price
Depends what material you're trying to learn, but this is true. I try to avoid incredibly popular normie books like what op recommended, just because the lessons learned from that will probably be told to me without needing to read it myself. If you can find some lesser known material you get knowledge that others don't have, making it more interesting and more useful.
Chase Anderson
Your pic is unironically me Wore shorts to class today and everyone was mirin My calves are next level
Alexander Thomas
Anyone know where you can get that style of shorts? I've been looking for a couple of good pairs
t. leaf
Ryan Campbell
still waiting for OPs last books and some pics of his new clothes. otherwise this thread looks more like some sort of indoctrination on how to be a good slave for the corporate world.
Anthony Cruz
these wouldn't be oversized on a non skinny frame
Evan Jackson
>this + lifting will easily take you from a 5 to an 8 So? I'm doing all of this, having a good career with 100k+ salary and still can't get a gf
Those "life advices" are useless common sense
Carson Williams

Fashion models, both male and female are selected by homosexual men. Keep this in mind next time you hear some fat feminist (I repeat myself!) complain about how patriarchy and anorexic models.

Daniel Jackson
Sorry OP i don't lift or live to impress other people.
Mason Torres
Idk, practice speaking to people?
Carter Long
it depends on the hoodie
Jayden Perez
Why is it that every post that gives fashion advice is fucking terrible? These people always post guys dressed like the OP image >ridiculous tiny chino shorts >beige slippers with no socks >t-shirt tucked into shorts And the guy is carrying a jumper too - if it's cold enough to wear a jumper then why the fuck is he wearing shorts?
Who comes up with this stuff? Who thinks it looks good? And tailoring always gets mentioned, who is going to visit a tailor for anything other than a suit for a special occasion? Nobody is going to go out of their way just for day-to-day wear. A pair of dark jeans or trousers, a plain-coloured t-shirt or shirt, a modest dark-coloured pair of shoes or casual footwear, a nice jumper. As long as everything fits you, that is literally all any man needs to look half-decent every day, any age or size. Not difficult, little effort required
>the models that are wearing them are skinny as fuck skinny bois are the ones who buy more fancy clothes
Easton Allen
>Picture related Nothing wrong with the advice, but why sign off with "pic related" when there's a 99% chance that's some eurotwink instagram model who's never worked a day in his life besides the occasional g4p session?
Robert Gomez
> A pair of dark jeans or trousers, a plain-coloured t-shirt or shirt, a modest dark-coloured pair of shoes or casual footwear, a nice jumper
this shit is pretty good, but fitizens who dont know shit about fashion dont know what good fit means. so theyll think theyre 2009 baggy bootcut dark jeans and their baggy t shirt is gonna suit them well.
Justin Fisher
The types of books posted in /fitlit/ are generally self help books that would get ridiculed on /lit/ or super entry level classics, so I don't think crossposters are much of a problem to be honest.
Charles Hernandez
Good basics. All successful people do cardio for body and mind. You should as well. A sport or hobby if you have the time. Friends and family in moderation, however your life should revolve around you. Other people bring happiness but also make you compromise on time and life goals if you let them.
Elijah Johnson
A reminder for me
Cooper Reed
More men these days need to be careerists. I feel like people are becoming far too passive about their career, and have stopped endlessly focusing on where they want to go next. When you get a job, acclimatise and get good at it as soon as possible, and as soon as you've adjusted, you should start working on where you want to go next (recommend working for a larger company as they'll have more promotion opportunities).
It's also vital to have a passion for something. An extremely attractive woman I know told me that having a passion for basically anything productive is one of the most attractive traits a guy can have. If you want to get a new hobby, make it something you can potentially make your source of income.
I think functional fitness is also important. You should have good coordination and be able to play some sort of sport. Just being strong is kinda pointless.
It's also important to have a healthy social life. A normal week for you should have around 2-3 meetups with friends (even if these are just super lowkey). You want to have 2-3 really close friends, and at least 2 social circles imo.
You just don't do it personally but I do visit a taylor sometimes to fix a buttoned up shirt. It doesn't cost that much and usually a potato-sac shirt can turn into a classy-as-fuck shirt you'd wear to go to the club. Fitting clothes are really important.
