Will gen Z ever really make it?
>spend entire childhood staring at iPads
>no fighting or roughhousing at all
>helicopter parented
>never learn any work ethic
>mommy kisses their boo boos their entire childhood
>never get to play outside
>never get to play contact sports
Will gen Z be the lost generation of fitness?
Will gen Z ever really make it?
They will never make it. I'm afraid of what will happen once generation Z gets into powerful positions such as politics and CEOs.
You're thinking of Generation Alpha. A lot of the younger people (~22) on Jow Forums are Gen Z and a lot of us didn't grow up with that shit. From what I know the cutoff from millenial to gen Z is blurred somewhere from 1995-2000. But yeah anyone born like 2004-2005 or later probably is how you describe.
>hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men and weak men create hard times
But I don't think that Gen Y is much different in that regard.
>gen z
I think you meant to say “upper middle class children”. None of what you say implies to the lower class children of parents who work labor. I guarantee you that my son and daughter get bullied all the time, and I’m too busy working to baby them.
Lower class are actually more likely to be raised by single mothers which opens up a whole plethora of problems
yeah and they will crash and burn and the survivors will be made from a steel not seen in centuries. We are mentally torturing children, I shudder to think what kind of jaded men and women they'll become.
>these goddamn younger generations are never gonna be half as good as us because they're so lazy with their technology
>back in my day hurdurr
t. every fucking generation ever
Uhhh
Ipads made them all ADHD. That said the people of my generation are not really better, always on their fucking phones.
/nophone/, /nointernet/, and other related things will become the next /nofap/. Not that it's a bad thing though.
If I have kids I'm not giving them any of this shit
You obviously don't know shit about history. There is a cycle, hard times create hard men and peacful times create soft men. We are on a decline where shit is about to hit the fan. Then, the next generation will be better than the previous 3. I mean theoretically, in reality the world ends before.
>There is a cycle, hard times create hard men and peacful times create soft men.
Yeah I too have seen that image posted on Jow Forums non-stop. The only cycle is every generation bitches about the generation that comes after them.
>I posted le caveman meme that means I win
>I base my rethoric over one Greek philosopher's quote even though I don't know shit about history
Generation Z is actually on track to be the most conservative in a long time.
jordan peterson is kinda right on the fact that nobody is selling them responsibility and self reliance, and we need that to have a fulfilling life. The conservatives only shtick is responsibility.
also
>they don't know what Dragonball Z is
>"But it is important to pay close attention to Gen Z’s more radical political outlooks. The Republican party usually engages people as they get older, but with Gen Z’s conservative leanings the Republicans have great hope of capturing yet another election. If we don’t want a major upset in 2020 we have to find ways to reach out to the next generation and work together."
>"A U.K. Study at The Gild did a survey of almost 2,000 adults and found that on issues like gay marriage, marijuana legalization, transgender rights, and even tattoos, 59% of Gen Z respondents described their views as ‘conservative’ and ‘moderate’."
These are radical and unstable views that must be fought
>lower class who work labor
get a better labor job kek I made 140k last year in a low cost of living area doing electrical work
>spend entire childhood staring at iPads
that's an overgeneralization, you could say that the previous generations all spent their childhood staring at TVs.
>no fighting or roughhousing at all
are you retarded?
>helicopter parented
some people do do this.
>never learn any work ethic
[citation needed]
>mommy kisses their boo boos their entire childhood
mommies didn't do that before?
>never get to play outside
kids play outside all the time, they also play inside. video games didn't change childhood all that much.
>never get to play contact sports
kids don't play sports anymore? Why would anyone want to play a contact sport?
not wrong.
I was born in 90 and I spent lots of time playing NES, snes, ps1, and Ultima online, and my parents didn't make me do chores and I still got an allowance.
now I'm a PLC programmer/electrician
really just depends on the person, not necessarily the parenting
What's making it?
Who are you?
How old are you?
Have you made it?
I know there's not one definition of making it but the people who usually make thread like this and make comments like some of these should really focus more on themselves.
Good. World is too liberal now, we need some conservatism for a balance.
