who quit the jew drink? who here fell for the preworkout meme? who realised that once you are addicted you take a preworkout just to perform like you normally would and you are just fighting withdrawals?
Important: im talking strictly about the caffeine, yes coffee does have some antioxidants but so does decaff.
addicts often come up with meme studies financed by cocacola and jews to defend their junk because they cant quit.
meanwhile the cold hard truth:
Withdrawal occurs at dosages as low as 100 mg/day. That’s just one typical cup of coffee. One study (Field et al., 2003) even found that abstaining from just 41 mg/day for 30 hours decreased blood flow to some parts of the brain by 19-32%. The most common withdrawal symptoms are headache, fatigue, decreased energy/activeness, decreased alertness, drowsiness, decreased contentedness, depressed mood, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and foggy/not clearheaded-ness. Withdrawal is much, much more common than most people think. Many people just assume legal drugs are perfectly safe and only associate withdrawal with illegal drugs, even though there is practically no relation between the toxicity and addictiveness of drugs and their legal status, but caffeine withdrawal is extremely common. In fact, many studies overestimated the positive effects of caffeine, because they didn’t exclude habitual caffeine consumers. This causes participants to be in withdrawal during the study and the so called positive effects of caffeine are then merely withdrawal reversal. If your training sessions are notably poorer without stimulants, you may very well be in withdrawal. Withdrawal also causes muscle stiffness and weakness. (Juliano & Griffiths, 2004).
The Truth:You become addicted to caffeine quickly, and soon you are drinking coffee to cure withdrawal more than for stimulation.
The truth is, once you’ve been drinking coffee for a while, the feeling you are getting after a cup isn’t the difference between the normal you and the super you, it’s the difference between the addict before and after a fix.
“The take home is that regular use of caffeine produces no benefit to alertness, energy, or function. Regular caffeine users are simply staving off caffeine withdrawal with every dose – using caffeine just to return them to their baseline. This makes caffeine a net negative for alertness, or neutral at best if use is regular enough to avoid any withdrawal.”
Tastes like shit, feels heavy on the stomach. Dumb people take pride into drinking it black without sugar, women say it's like they like their men "black and strong" What is it with this jew drink?
Alexander Sanders
name this braper, would repaint her face if you know what I mean.
Luis Fisher
Based anti jew drink poster Day 5 here no coffee
Adam Adams
Love training with my friends and getting an iced long black after it, love having a coffee with my mum a couple times a week.
It's my only vice these days pretty much, let me have it
Gabriel Cox
You should add it causes anxiety and can lead to erectile issues due to its vasoconstriction properties, not to mention it dehydrates you and fucks with normal sleep. I’m kicking it now also.
How much are you getting into a day brother? I get a double shot once in the mornings.
Jackson Butler
I sleep a lot better without any caffeine. Even 1 cup per day will keep you up at night, just because you don't realize how tired you really are and don't go to bed.
>tfw had to quit drinking caffeine because it gives me anxiety Maybe I'm better off without it anyway
Cooper Evans
Yeah might as well do them all; /nofap/, /nocoffee/, /noporn/, /nomedia/, /nointernet/, /nolife/. Fuck if I want to enjoy anything in life. We should all abstain from everything because that makes us a better person right? Because being the ultimate human is what we want to be. But what then? Would you really say that working at your goals 247, without any time off is really anyway to live?
Tyler Foster
I’m a solicitor. Us fuckers have 5-10 espressos a day. I’ve been on decaf for 3 days and already feel unbelievably cleaner minded. Is this a placebo or will decaf actually help?
Zachary Fisher
coffee isn't that fucking bad kek. how god damn soft are you if coffee is this disruptive to your life.
I mean if we are all to live the longest possible lives and shit then we'd all be periodizing every last nutrient for optimum bodily function, but fuck, life is just dull that way. eating healthy and working out is fine, everything else is hypchondria, paranoia or plain boredom.
Juan Myers
>I drink 8 cups of coffee and 6 scoops of preworkout a day im not gonna stop fag
read the op. you have ZERO net benefits from habitual consumption and you are falling for a simple psychological meme.
its the same with smokers who say they like the taste of cigarettes.
Logan Walker
I don't get how people get addicted to caffeine to begin with coffee only felt good the first time I drank it in my life at like 17 then I never touched it again after my third cup soft drinks also make you feel fucking terrible
Liam Morris
Fasted caffeine cycling masterrace. 200mg caffeine, 200mg theanine 1-2 days a week. All the benefits, none of the dependency.
Blake Baker
>how god damn soft are you if coffee is this disruptive to your life he fell for the "its legal so it must be soft" meme.
google the half life of this devilish juice and see why your sleep quality goes to shit. even after taking 25mg raw cocaine i can sleep better after 5 hours than on caffeine because of short half life.
Christian Bennett
Lmao how can you become addicted to coffee Fucking coffee Are you so weak you need it every fucking morning? Delusional
Jayden Lewis
this is definately better than daily consumption but i still think that its a meme because on days your taking it your sleep quality is different and your deep sleep phases also goes to trash. so your natural sleep cycle might suffer from it.
Blake Hughes
dude, lying in bed for an hour before dropping off isn't the end of the damn world. you need to relax. there are 12 year old girls drinking coffee in starbucks every day who can take it better than you
Bentley Davis
>Are you so weak you need it every fucking morning? 90% of burgers are. thats 300m retarded mutts.

>how god damn soft are you if coffee is this disruptive to your life. try quitting it and see how disruptive it is to your life
William Perez
>how god damn soft are you if coffee is this disruptive to your life And thats why you have so many caffeine junky comparing withdrawals to benzos/opiods? Really makes you think. Just look how bad these people defend their addiction in these threads.
Leo Johnson
ultimate cuck thread.
Coffee has been around for a long enough time, if it causes all those problems YOU'RE just WEAK.
Most food products contain caffeine hope you know this, so you never really avoid it. I work for a commercial company, that creates a particular popular brand of packaged food and we implement caffeine as a non-listed ingredient in dosage of 45 - 75mg. Reason being is its boosted effects become associated with the food as well as mood enhancement, so every time you feel good after eating and you associate the food with that feeling.
HERE is the catch, our food tech say it isn't effective for people who are already happy as caffeine doesn't unblock your dopamine supplies so it never surpasses levels in which you release to much so that you comedown, there is literally no comedown other then going back to how your normally felt. Check pubMED for studies.
In other words if you are just fucked a coffee or caffeine temporarily brings you to a level where you aren't fucked as if you where normal. Problem in today society is the whole world is fucked and overworked. The only jew trick here is that we ignore the facts we are overworked and not sleeping enough,
Aiden Myers
kek. benzos withdrawal can kill you. caffiene withdrawal is a sore head.
like i said, you need to grow up and stop being soft. if coffee scares you this much then you are just a pussy, simple as that
Joseph Clark
nobody is talking about dark chocolate you fucking brainlet. we are talking about brainlets who need a 400mg preworkout or a pot of coffee to start the day.
Benjamin Flores
Enlightening stuff. It's the same with opiate withdrawal. For the first day or two it is fun and you feel amazing and happy. Then you try to go a day without and you feel like shit... so you take some more. Eventually you are just taking it to feel normal and by that stage you know the withdrawals are going to be hell, so you keep taking it.
Jace Anderson
it doesnt scare me you brainlet. i was addicted to this meme for 5 years and i feel like a new born baby after quitting it.
i did months of research on this topic. the buzz is nothing but an illusion and 99% who tried to quit report it changed their lives for the better. you should try it aswell.
Gabriel Watson
>the facts we are overworked and not sleeping enough i never believed this. we have a more luxurious life than ever now. gone are the days of having to do 16 hour days in a factory or slave all day in the field.
Benjamin Phillips
The average half life of caffeine in the body is 5 hours and this varies a lot between people. That means if you have 3 cups throughout the day it is very likely that you still have 1 cup's worth of caffeine in your system by the time you go to bed. This amount has been shown to decrease the length of time asleep and also drastically reduce REM sleep meaning you don't get restful sleep and you wake up tired and groggy. So what's the first thing you do then? That's right, have another cup of coffee.
Andrew Brooks
i started drinking coffee purely for the taste and warmth about 6 years ago and i noticed no bad effects whatsoever.
take a few deep breaths, calm down, and stop being such a melodramatic manchild. i don't give a fuck how much research you've done or how enlightening cutting out coffee was to your boring life, you are blowing this way, way out of proportion.
James Johnson
>i started drinking coffee purely for the taste and warmth about 6 years ago and i noticed no bad effects whatsoever. if its purely for the taste then go change to decaff tomorrow and report back. protip: you cant and wont. reason: addiction.
Juan Gutierrez
maybe during the industrial revolution, but all that is fairly modern, yes with the increase in population now seems more optimal then the great industrial boom which had no regulations and seen different classes of which people would abuse.
anything post industrial revolution literally came down to what people forced. Yes there were less regulations so probably a lot more corruption and people forced to work but for the majority no. Most people would work seasonally, meaning for the season or boom and live of that for the rest of the year.
In fact in recorded history there was nearly always days where everyone was not allowed to work unless permitted. Most days for peasents foraging was four to six hours as you couldn't work in dimmer light etc..
so you're completely wrong, In fact we use to sleep in two six hour phases look it up you fucking mass feeding fud fuck.
Daniel Cox
never have i "needed" a coffee, never have i felt withdrawal, and i regularly have days in which i don't have coffee at all. my view towards coffee is like my view towards eating an orange - if i want one i will have one, otherwise it doesn't cross my mind for a second.
you are a delusional, melodramatic baby who has been memed by the american philosophy of "virtually harmless substance X is evil so i must doggedly remove it from my life entirely". i've heard the same logic from people arguing about metal in tuna, cholesterol in eggs, hormones in milk and every other similarly garbage concern that seems to sweep over young, gullible, weak ass americans these days. just piss off.
Parker Allen
decaff tastes like shit tho doesn't taste like coffee at all, give me a brand that does and I'll drink it.
Jose Campbell
I've been trying to quit for a long time, it's hard because I work a lot
Jonathan Sullivan
>i regularly have days in which i don't have coffee at all. There are basically no effects on day 1. You won't even notice. Go a month.
over my dead body, I'm ottermode and dark chocolate is my one true love
Brandon Edwards
>if its purely for the taste then go change to decaff tomorrow and report back.
Decaf does not taste the same. At all.
>i never believed this. we have a more luxurious life than ever now. gone are the days of having to do 16 hour days in a factory
16 hour days only happened during the industrial revolution. Farm workers can only work at most when the sun is up and when the climate supports growing crops. In medieval Europe there were dozens of festival days every year when no work happened, plus every Sunday was no work. Overall, they spent a similar amount of time in their fields as modern workers - 2000ish hours a year. They worked harder at domestic chores, but they also got to eat 3000+ calories grass-fed meats and cheeses, organic whole grains, fresh vegetables etc. No ZOGchow in sight.

do you wanna be looking like a greek god with an intellect and mind like a true monk who is in peace with himself and is admired by everyone around him with his superior aura or do you wanna be a normie like 99% of the population who fell for kike substances and media.
Nathan Myers
on an average day i consume 1 sip and 1 scoop og pwo, there are some days Where it can be as high a 2 of each. Still i feel completely normal on days Where i don't consume caffeine, i've even went a month without any caffeine and did't Feel any withdrawls
Austin Anderson
Who here fell for the 'jews behind everything' meme?
Isaac Stewart
there weren't any effects on day 1 of starting to drink coffee either, or a month, or 6 years.

Jow Forums would have you do nothing that is remotely enjoyable to larp as a templar knight. enjoy life, modern man has access to an enormous range of pleasures at low cost. it would be a shame to waste the opportunity. and do it now while you're young. young alcoholism is sexy, middle aged alcoholism is pathetic

I can and did switch to decaf due to anxiety issues a year or so back. I regularly dilute my coffee with decaf also based on if I started to get overly anxious the day previous.
Switching isn't a problem for me as much as I like coffee. I just don't despite my anxiety because I prefer the taste, the little come-up, and the habit. It's a habit for me more than an addiction.
That being said, I am increasingly moderating my caffeine intake. So maybe tomorrow I'll try to do just 100mg altogether which is about a standard cup and then peter out this weekend to no caffeine and try a caffeine free week following that.
I dunno I feel like I have a tendency to hold a lot of water, always have, and coffee balances that out a bit. I've gone off it for several months at a time & never noticed any huge improvements in my appearance, sleep, energy levels etc.
According to some ayurveda sources ppl with a lot of kapha can actually benefit from caffeine & similar stimulants, when used mindfully.
Oliver Mitchell
I need to break my kratom addiction first ok. Baby steps.
Benjamin Powell
coffee and caffeine are different things but caffeine itself isn't so bad in moderation, especially if you are putting it to use and not just sitting at your desk trying to stay awake
Robert Perry
Y'all have missed the biggest meta-analysis on the health effects of coffee - here's another big 'ole data point to add to your analysis:
The BMJ is a high tier journal and this is some of the best data we have on the mortality benefit of coffee. Within health care mortality studies are the holy grail, so much in medicine is poorly understood so it's important to pick good outcomes for your studies. Death is a pretty big one so mortality data is always well respected. This isn't as good as well designed prospective studies in large groups of people, but no one wants to pay for that shit, so retrospective it is.
Some highlights from the study
Coffee consumption up to SEVEN CUPS A DAY was associated with decreased all cause mortality
Greatest benefit was found at the 3 cup per day mark (note - the term "cup" is poorly controlled and not standardized across studies, but you get the idea).
Contained within is numbers on how coffee will reduce your risk for heart attack, diabetes (for any of you fat fucks), parkinsons, alzheimers, shit loads of cancer, and some other shit. It's even liver protective.
lots of these benefits may even be extended to decaf coffee
lotta kids in here saying stuff they know nothing about. I may go back through and negate some more claims if I have more time.
tl;dr best available data suggests that coffee makes you live longer and will reduce your chance of developing some of the most feared conditions.
Adrian Nelson
I want to believe
Lucas Phillips
so what if you get withdrawals? easily avoided by tapering you get unambiguous improvements in cognition and athletic performance. it makes you live longer. and you avoid the sort of autistic shit that OP is on about.

He’s right, you know.

I noticed my dick is bigger flaccid when no coffee
And it looks huge when erected

This is when I quit, when I realised I was drinking two cups a day to simply stay awake.
Stopped drinking caffeine and I'm more focused and alert during the day.

There are also 12 year old girls that could out drink you. Don't be a fucking Brainlet.
Choose your vices wisely. I drink more alcohol than is healthy, but I'm happy to give up caffeine since I feel better without it.

Noticed this aswell, my sleep cycle was also fucked. Glad I quit and am redpilled.

>no caffeine
fuck off, I'd rather die than give up morning coffee. I drink it black. I get if you're a faggot and you pour cream and sugar in, but black coffee is good. Don't be a faggot.

yeah, I'm on adderall too, so real amphetamines on top of my coffee. What's your point?
Ayden Parker
nothing. you do you user. op is just awaring people who wanna make it in life.
Julian Flores
Why drink coffee? >Lower risk of liver disease >Lowered risk of cancers appearing >Lower risk of stroke >Lowered risk of cardiovascular disease Downsides >Increased chance of low birth weight >Increased chance of preterm birth >Increased chance of miscarriage However, these were mostly nullified when accounting for smoking bmj.com/content/359/bmj.j5024

I was using that much to mask my depression. "Hard to be sad when you are this stimmed up"
Caleb Butler
>Shill Go back to /ptg/ Provide evidence for these claims.
Yea caffeine is a meme. That being said it can be useful if you utilize it properly. However 99% of caffmeme consumers are just office drones who physically depend on it to stay awake. Get a load of that. They’re entire lives are dependent on some jewish-Colombian drink. Pathetic.
