Benching more often improves the skill. But all the skill in the world isn't going to push the weight if you don't have the musculature to move it. Unless you're doing Max grip Eddie Berglund McDonald's Arch bullshit.

The long-term solution is increase the volume of pressing, and do enough accessory work to address the musculature of the entire upper body, then recover properly by eating enough and having enough recovery between pressing days.

SS deadlift setup is great. It's Rip's squat cues that aren't great.

The SS setup for deadlifts leaves my lower back horribly rounded because of my proportions and flexibility. It doesn't work for everyone.

It essentially boils down to bar over mid foot, hinge and grab the bar, lock the lats in then drop the hips until shins meet bar. I can't see how it provides an opportunity to force someone to round their back. It *should* work for any limb lengths, unlike the squat cues.

Arching the back is to save the shoulder, just use a close grip if you want a longer ROM.

Because of my proportions and flexibility, I essentially can't get down to the starting position without either rounding my back or pushing my knees out. I switched to pushing my knees out and my deadlift just keeps getting stronger.
