Imagine having the perfect balance of macronutrients all the time and not following any diets, especially those who neglect certain nutrients on a larger scale.

You can actually do this on keto as well, you just need to be a little more precise with the macros, and ONLY eat enough fast/high GI CARBS to get you through your workout.

the loosest form of keto is 100g carbs a day.

The liver can store 100g and the muscles in your body can store 400-600g.

The math just doesn't seem to work very efficiently for keto.

Can any of you fags explain to me how keto is bad, especially in the short term? There's a community out there that it has clearly worked for, so why not give it a shot?

replenish it depending on how often you use said muscles and deplete stores with good carbs like rice or taters
no reason to eat more carbs than your body needs

the only reason keto "works" is because of the caloric deficit. just like fasting "works". it works until it doesn't anymore. you can't remain in a deficit forever, and you can't do keto forever.

beyond that, keto isn't even remotely safe from a health standpoint. basing your diet off primarily fats is the most retarded thing you could do to your body.
