I've been doing bodyweight/calisthenics to the point where I think I'm strong enough to start going to a gym
Only issue is, EVERY gym in my area has "crossfit" in the name or lacks open gym. They're all too well lit. I want a dark sweaty patrician environment

"partician" gyms.. man, fuck off with that and all. so many huge dudes train at regular gyms. I'm sure the gyms you refer to exist, but just because they have a certain style or aethetic doesnt mean the weights are any better. In fact, shit might well be a lot less well maintained than in a normal gym, which could well lead to worse workouts.

You can lift, anytime. It's the only 24 hour gym in my area that's not a fucking Planet Fitness, but it's comfy being the only person woring out at 4AM
your delts are dogshit, they are the most important muscle for aesthetics because they make your shoulders wider for the V taper
start hitting delts and chest twice a week if you EVER want to make it

I know this is an excuse to not go to the gym, but the whole fucking point of strength training in a gym is to get stronger. You don't need to be a certain level of strong, you'll be increasing your strength as you go.

Anyways just work with what you got. I live on a military base, and so I to wake up at 3am and make it to the gym at 4am on weekdays because the crowd isn't filled with retards crowding around benches and doing curls in inconvenient places. Plus I get to be first in the squat rack lol
