losertown.org/eats/cal.php
*water weight not included
>Can I eat (something with calories)?
A: No
>Can I drink coffee or tea? Diet soda?
Coffee and tea are probably okay. Sweeteners are probably bad. This is debatable
>So only drink water?
For longer fasts, supplement electrolytes. When you feel bad, mix around 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp potassium chloride/citrate in water and sip it throughout the day. Adjust as needed. Headache=more salts. Watery shits=more water
>Where do I find potassium chloride/citrate?
Stores would have them where they keep the salt. Names include NoSalt, LoSalt, etc.

I think it's good. It has more sources now down the bottom which is great. Doesn't stop idiots from posting here though and asking stupid questions.

My first meal after 6 days water fasting.

Was going for 7 but it's my mum's birthday today and I have been invited around to a big dinner for her so I thought I would eat some keto foods prior to stop me binging on cake.

Going for another 7 days after this.

Attached: Keto.jpg (1000x750, 355K)

Way to undo all that fasting, you dirty animal.

you realize you can just build muscle for a year then keep training and just take in less calories than needed?
>im on about the lazy bastard way

Just build muscle for a year -> stop eating carbs for a week-> eat proper healthy meals but containing less calories than you need while you keep training

How? The point of OMAW is to have OMAW. It's probably 1 day's worth of my calories and it has a lot of good fats and vitamins in. I also took a few multivitamins as well as vit D and zinc. Now I'm topped up an ready to go another 7 days.

On my 5th day of fasting now.
Thinking of breaking it.

Any reason to go longer?

Some of us are fat to begin with so putting on fat and dealing with another year of shame is a no go.
Better to drop the fat quickly, get down to 12-15% bf then do a lean bulk from there.

desu ive not much experience with fatt bum bums
But you have to change your lifestyle.
and that is hard and takes fucking months if not years.
>so surround yourself with active people.
Find outdoor hobbies or even work in a garden or dig holes in the desert.

dunno what kind of work you do but id say after work keep moving not necessarily working out but go for a walk, watch tv standing, cycle, definitely walk a lot cause it increases your metabolism.
oh and drink tons of water, just dont drink 4 liters with in a couple hours or burst your stomach and die a painful death like Florida woman.

you got a plan on paper?
any ideas on what kind of sport you wanna play?
>i found that having discipline is more preparation than simply pulling trough.

women for instance love their children for several reasons 1 of them is the amount of time and effort they put into them, thats why they love the shittiest of their kids the most.
so if you hate exercise and eating healthy you have to trick yourself into loving it by planning it and watching videos get inspired and shit.
>and dont bother getting upset for fucking up. if you fuck up you might aswell binge because a binge once in a while is actually good.

Asking here to see if any of you have researched this.
I'm doing a project on the effect of intermittent fasting/IF on type 2 diabetes. I had hoped to find some articles specifically showing that it reduced HbA1c or fasting blood glucose, but HbA1c is a better measure of 24 hour levels.

So far I have only found one short study that looks at fasting glucose:

>ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5394735/

And another looking at blood glucose in muslims during Ramadan:

>ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4718105/

Can anyone find any better/bigger/longer studies that look into this?

a hobby of mine besides having to walk my dog every day is watching the stars at night.
star gazing makes me fucking hyper when the sun goes down.
>You need to go to sleep at the same time at night as well...every night.

Muslims and Ramadan fasting is bullshit

they binge as soon as the sun goes down. ive muslim friends and jesus i hardly eat that much during christmas and they do that every day for a month.

Never going to make it.

i reckon diabetes people would need a very fixed pattern of eating and exercising no?

Thanks for the enlightening and well thought out feedback

You can still try to throw up the most of that garbage

mfw fasted for 3 days and then ate lots of cheeseburgers and sodas when i broke it

your body shat out most of that.
you should see your body as a conveyor belt.
Dumping on too much shit makes it impossible for the people down the line to sort the shit and box them.
i binge at least 1 day a month. (im not fat never been)
>its the same with smoking btw. your body can only take in so much nicotine and after that it just goes into your piss, just like sugar.

Reminder that without disciplined eating habits you are never going to make it. Also there are no before/after pictures on this general because it is all hamplanets larping.

Attached: 0NfHnew.jpg (1080x1080, 149K)

made me laugh out loud

You fucked up. Might as well binge on that birthday cake now you fattie

Why haven't I seen a single progress picture on fasting?

that food has a nice colour spread

>LOOK MOM I POSTED IT AGAIN

Low sodium V8 replaces most of the sodium with potassium... great for electrolytes. There was a guy who posted who drank one 46 oz bottle of this per day (240 cal) and nothing else and went two months.

If I'm 6'0" 250 lbs, and water fast for 30 days straight, walking and burning roughly 350-400 extra calories every day, is it likely I'd be down to 200 by the end of the 30 days?

im a bodybuilder and i used to be a scrawny little faggot.
when i took a break for an injury was the first time i became a fatty.
this didnt last long cause i just picked up my training and lost it with in 2 months

How about taking laxitives to empty the gut faster?

lol are you competing?
no?
then dont fuck up your body and make yourself have a negative experience with weightloss

I was diagnosed with T2 diabetes and got my HbA1c back to normal using IF+LowCarb+Calisthenics and lost 48 kilograms of excess weight in the process, so there's that.

If I *can* fast for 2 months, should I?
Is there a checklist of particular supplements to make sure no lighte headedness etc happens?
I have some magnesium supplements I bought a year ago for when I was going to fast back then.

salt
potassium
multi-vitamin
literally all you need

You’re not supposed to binge they will burn for this insha allah

Thank you. Good luck!

Thanks.
I took my before pictures just now.
I'm not going to post them yet but rest assured I'm a fatty. BMI is 31.50

when the sun goes down they can eat what they want and the women always make huge fucking meals and all sorts of good food.
a friend of mine used to ask me to come over and i wasnt allowed a lot of times cause it would be dark later than i was allowed to have snacks and close to bed time etc.
tasty fewd though

You won't have to go through the first 3 days again.
If you're gonna do something, may aswell go all the way, right?
If you are going right back to fasting, well, enjoy your favourite food I guess, but for me

np
1 multi-vit in morning and afternoon
3500~mg of potassium spread evenly throughout day
2,00mg~ sodium spread evenly through the day
add a little extra sodium/potassium if headaches or feeling rough

drink lots of water, aim for about 3liters-gallon a day if not more.

goodluck guys, ive done 2 1-month fasts and im about to start my final one. Im ready for it to be over desu so i can get back to gaining muscle lol

2,000 sodium, not 200. MB

lost close to 6lb this week from a 90 hour fast this week, not sure how great that is for me tßh, not feeling like eating at all, but I've gotta play sport tomorrow morning and not sure going into 2 hours of intense cardio after 100+ hours of water.

been one keto if 8 hour window for about a week now, feeling sore in my body and my kidneys have like a dull pain

on keto*

Jesus, it's been 5 fucking days. What the hell am I still shitting out?

Though, on the plus side I am 10-12 pounds down. Feeling not all that bad.

Can someone explain why this is bad at all? Seriously, is this just a low key eating disorder general handing out "thinspiration"?

Avocado, salmon, mixed nuts, salad and some cheese and bacon is just as bad as cake huh?
Those good fats are great for keto. Maybe not the bacon and cheese, but its once a week so who cares?

My friend told me that non-green teas can hinder or be an issue for fasting.
What's the consensus of it? I figured all teas were ok since there are no calories but maybe that's not the case?

What part of fasting and not eating you don´t understand?

What part of ONE MEAL A WEEK don't you understand? That is obviously the one meal, for the WEEK.

Spicy V8 is fucking tasty

Never going to make it with one meal a week.

Whats peoples thoughts on working out while you fast? How long can i maintain going to the gym everyday without eating before it becomes dangerous? (I'm about 14%)

Attached: 18623094_10154823028348650_1656120847_n.jpg (360x640, 30K)

Yeah, no shit. But at some point, you have to stop fasting and then eat food. And making it seem like he lost a week's work of progress from a reasonably sized meal that was intended to contain a days worth of calories is absurd.

I don't know if he ate that who damn bag of nuts or not, but even worst case scenario he did, then all of that together is no more than 4000 calories which would undo just one day of previous fasting leaving him with 5 days of fasting gains.

Never going to make it with that attitude

You can keep your same routine, you'll just have to lower your intensity. It's like any other cut.

Fuck off you autist

You don´t seem to understand that the difference between those who succeed and those who fail might be just those 4000 calories.

k

So are most of you guys doing this pretty heavy?, and also what the fuck are you going to do once you are done starving yourself?

I´´ve been doing 30 day, 20 day and 15 day fasts. Now I am fattening up myself again for 30 day fast.

I don´t know, for me, this is a lifestyle

Yeah, I'm fatter than holy hell and figured all the documentaries and information was solid enough to give it a go. Once I stop I'll likely just go back to my regular keto diet.

I also partially did this out of necessity as I am out of money and food for the month.

/adf/ here.
got through my second 36 hour fast. Sucks the scale didn't really move that much but I'm definitely getting more cut. A few more weeks and I should be at the 12-14% bf that I've been gunning for.

I ate strong laxitive 4 hours ago and I feel nothing. What a scam.

>start fast 33 days ago
>go from 271lb yto 218lb
>goal is 180

I'm gonna make it, niggas

good

good shit bro. Keep dominating your eating habiits

There are weirdos here. When you have people suggesting that someone doing a course of chemo should do a 90 hour dry-fast you have to assume it's someone who thinks people needing a nephrectomy is pretty funny.

Do you guys think once I refeed I will be able to have "normal" eating habits?
No binges, no overeating or weird cravings..

not guaranteed but I think you'll have a good chance to reset and give it a shot?
Didnt work for me right after a 5 day fast but I'm working on actively shifting habits rather than continually hoping for that reset.
Do your best, skeleton!

>day 4-207.6 Lbs-5'10"
feels better than day 3.
gotta go fast.

Attached: fatnic.gif (500x360, 63K)

I want to do fasting for extended periods, even try Intermittent Fasting but i've heard and seen through google searches etc. that fasting RAISES stress hormones, specifically Cortisol. Any information from you guys? I dont wannar aise stress hormonies

Attached: D_inetpubvhostsclinicians.co.nzhttpdocstinysourcecache430_320_FFFFFF_www_clinicians_co_nz_102.jpg (430x320, 24K)

just about everything raises stress, including restricted caloric intake.

its honestly the same but my motivation goes way down on the fasting days. got a little bit of insomnia as well. desu I'm only doing this shit bc it's the laziest proven way and I really want to lose this last % bf to get ready for summer.

your body doesnt just need energy used from fat to be healthy, you need a consistent intake of things other than shit like that. weight isnt the only factor when talking about a healthy body.

Now my dick won't go up :(

Finally hit 190lb today. Next goal is 180.

OMAD, I do boxing three times a week ever since I fell of my weight lifting routine. Went up about 10 kg from an injury along with personal bullshit. I’ve fasted for a max of 3 days, found it doable; but with any heavy training with weights or cardio it’s not sustainable.

OMAD gets me through the day and keeps me full when I get home and gives me enough energy to really have a good workout. I’ve been eating pretty regular meals for these past 2 weeks and still feel great, knowing that I can’t eat during the day gives me some autistic peace and calm. Food habits have been bettered as well, trying to no only eat more greens but also stuff myself with salads during dinner. All in all it’s also really beneficial if you hate meal prepping and for avoiding co-workers that eat always eat junk.

Firstly, I am not fully fasting until I get to my goal weight, I eat around twice a week with lifting in order to maintain my muscle. After I hit my goal I will focus on bulking - my goal after I hit around 15% bf is to hit 1/2/3/4 for reps.

I swear i saw this on reddit. It got deleted for being inaccurate and shitty. And their fasting community is pretty dead set on pure water/ snake fasting.

Your body is holding on to your shit for dear life.

Fasting is quite literally the single most efficient manner of gaining healthy eating habits, as it resets the gut microbiome allowing you to build more beneficial bacteria. The key problem for many is that they were stupid kids with stupid parents and thus grew a garden of bacteria that love sugar and block efficient metabolic pathways.

Start lifting again while bloatmaxxing on berries all summer like my ancestors

how long 2 dead gut bugs?

Source on the gut bacteria thing? Would not just stop eating processed shit and carbs do the same thing to your gut bacteria ie. strict keto + veggies

How

not eating

what was your experience on day 4?
when did you stop fantasizing about food?

The longest I've gone is 26 hours idk if I'd make it a fucking month

Fast until you get diarrhoea takes about 10 days

Spending all my time looking at recipes and pictures of food.

About a week or two, when your typical hunger pangs subside and you don't happen to crave junk for a change.

I made it past my first 48 hours.
I woke up incredibly hungry around hour 55.
Cooked up some good food. Time to try again. Gonna aim to double my time or more. /accountability posting/ here.

I drank beef broth yesterday.
it was day 3.

pickle juice on a fast
yay or nay

29 hours in, I'm constantly thinking about eating and even my dog's treats are starting to smell good. Fucking hell, is it worth it?

I want to fast for 600 years so I can finally be rid of all this bodyfat, I wanna look AMAZING

it's not, you'll be back to eating in 2 days time at best. Just don't break it with dog treats

april may june, july 1 i will ascped rnough is enoguh

Are most of you fatasses?
