I've been attending a cognitive behavioural therapy support group for about 6 years now, ever since my cutting first started to get out of control.

Currently trying to bulk so I dont really have that issue

I used to have a bulking problem too, but my doctor prescribed me medication for that and now I just can't stop cutting. They say I'll be ok if I keep doing the CBT tho

Weird right, its almost like you have to do the corresponding lifts that activate the muscles back there to get them to grow. How fucking stupid are you that you have to ask how to grow a muscle, Jesus.

After 3 years of lifting I started T-bar row. With proper form it is lighting up my lower traps like crazy.
I use the V shaped attachment for cable rows and hook it under the bar. Hold onto it without my thumbs, just the 4 fingers. Pick it up a few inches off the ground so you are good and stretched out and pull by focusing on retracting your scapula, your lats will take over near the top and your biceps are an after thought.
Probably my new favorite lift.

Interesting. I've recently added narrow grip Pendlay rows to try and isolate them but I'll give that a shot on back day tomorrow.

If you want more ROM when using T-bar load it up with 35 pounders or even 25s. the smaller the plate the closer you can pull the bar to yourself.

My other tip which is standard for rows I guess, is to pull with your elbows. As in, try and bring your elbows to the ceiling after you pull you retract your scapula.

T-bar rows made me light headed as fuuuuuck the first few sets. No idea if that will happen to you but just be aware.

Something to think about also, is that every plate you add to T-bar, is more than the 'advertised' amount, and this effect increases the further out the plates get due to leverage. Just a 45 pound plate on the bar by itself might require 50 pounds to lift (if we aren't counting the bar) but add another 45 to it, and it will be more than 95 or 100 pounds of force required to lift it.

I've never heard of narrow grip rows. I'll try those if you try T-bar :)
