Your productivity goes way down when you get less sleep. Also, a lot of "successful" people are lying about how much they sleep because people think less sleep = more macho

I feel like trash when I oversleep and one of the best nights of sleep I ever got was a night I got like 4.5 hours or some shit because I had to wake up super early. I think a lot of sleep quality is based on how tired you are the night before and also if you're waking up during a dream. I usually feel like shit when I'm woken up in the middle of a deep sleep cycle.

I've always thought going to sleep late and waking up late was cool, but recently I started trying to move my schedule earlier and I can tell you that the hours before midnight are amazing for sleep, now I try to go to bed at 22. So far it's been working like 10% of the time, but when I fall asleep before midnight it really feels good man.

Sleep quality is based on how close you get to your optimal sleep function.
Over the past 6 years I've tested every possible sleep duration along with controls and even different things to sleep on to see if that had an effect.
Turns out my optimal sleep number is 2.5 hours, and if I go over that it HAS to be in increments of 2.5 otherwise I feel half dead for most of the day
