They're really nice for squats if you squat lowbar too. I've used Inzer grippers and Titan max RPMs, both are good, but I prefer less stiff wraps.
I got titan's max rpm, they feel great, but as I said, I don't really need them so I don't use them

Something in my hip/groin pulls hard on the right side, even when I do dynamic stretches and mobility work before, when I squat too wide. I had to take 3 months off squatting altogether in the past, is there anything I can do about that pulling feeling?

Can't engage lats fully, can't hold breath at top because of having to dick with straps at bottom, losing 90% of my energy in starting position getting them on.... seriously they're a fucking nightmare

No, I don't see it, I have major tourettes and ADHD and I never had problems training. You don't get distracted by hitting other shit, when you follow a schedule all your energy is put into the workout you're currently doing.
I do however socialize sometimes between sets, which is rare and counter productive but necessary to being a member of the gym culture and gym staff.
